Chicken Fried Rice

Ingredients :

* Raw rice - 1 cup

* Minced garlic - 1 tbsp

* Minced green chilies - 1 tbsp

* Egg - 1

* Onion - 1

* Chicken - 3/4 cup

* Soya sauce - 1 tbsp

* Carrot - 3/4cup

* Capsicum - 1/2cup

* Beans -1/4 cup

* Spring onion - 1/2 cup

* Celery - 1/2 cup

* Chili sauce - 1/2 tbsp

* Pepper - 1 Garnish with celery leaves and spring onion leaves

Preparation

Saute garlic and green chilies in vegetable oil. Add onion and sauté then add egg. When cooked add chicken and stir fry until cooked.

Add carrot, capsicum, beans and celery. When cooked add chili sauce, Soya sauceand pepper. Finely add cooked rice. Mix well and serve hot.

Apple Caramel

Ingredients :

Corn flour - 1 tbs

Milk -1 cup

Peeled & grated apple - 2 no's

Lemon juice - few drops

Eggs - 2 no's

Sugar - 2 tbs

Orange marmalade - 1 tbs

Marie biscuits - 2 no's

Shelled & Sliced Walnuts - 100 gms

Sliced Cherries - 50 gm Cocoa powder, dissolved in a little

water - 1 tbs

Preparation :

* Mix cornflour with milk to a smooth paste and bring to a boil. Keep aside.

* Add lemon juice to the apples. Stir over low heat for about 10 minutes. Keep aside.

* Beat the eggs with sugar, marmalade and marie biscuits. Mix walnuts and cherries, reserving a little for later use.

* Mix the apples, egg-biscuit mixture and walnut-cherry mixture together. Divide it into two portions.

* Pour one portion into a caramelised pan and steam for 10 minutes. Add cocoa mixture to the remaining portion and pour it gently over the steamed pudding.

* Steam for 15 minutes more or till done. Invert the dessert onto a serving dish. Decorate with the cherries and walnut kept aside. Serve chilled.
