Onions used to bring tears in common man's eyes!! Now it’s the turn of tomatoes though it is not an essential vegetable like onion.Common people were not worried about jarring words like inflation, GDP or ABCD! They are interested only in getting essential commodities at reasonable price . It seems the present regime has utterly failed in controlling prices in spite of Central govt. directive for strict action against hoarders and listing onions and potatoes after the Modi govt. controlled onions, now the hoarders have started inflating tomato prices. There is no decrease in production of tomato crop. Other vegetables are freely available and reasonably priced. In India, prices are not dependent on rains (or the lack of it). The hoarders wait for signals to simply increase prices and make extraordinary profits. When the meteorological department predicted lesser rains, the news channels and papers started playing the same tune again and again -" Now prices will rise, Now prices will rise". The hoarders have fulfilled their wishes and have indeed increased the prices.Tomatoes are selling at Rs.50-60 a kilo in Bangalore which is major hub for procuring and supply of tomatoes .We can still find many vegetable sellers dumping rotten tomatoes on roadsides because people are buying less. So, there is no shortage of tomatoes, its just that it has become a target for hoarders.
This is pure and simple economic terrorism. Economic terrorists are spreading their activities everywhere- real estate, vegetables, retail, education etc. Most of these states which are into tomato and onion and other major vegetable production were UPA Governed states and therefore this could be a deliberate attempt to embarrass the Ruling party.

బీహార్లో ఏదన్నా జరిగితే అక్కడ జంగిల్‌ రాజ్ నడుస్తోందని అంతా విమర్శించడం సహజం. కానీ ఇప్పుడు దిల్లీలో ఉన్న అస్థిర పరిస్థితులు చూసిన తరువాత బీహార్‌ ముఖ్యమంత్రికి సమయం వచ్చినట్లుంది. ‘బీహార్లో ఏ చిన్న
ఉత్తర్‌ప్రదేశ్‌లో సాగుతున్న దారుణాలకి అంతులేకుండా పోతోంది. అందుకు తాజా ఉదాహరణగా ఇద్దరు అక్కాచెల్లెల్ల మీద నడిరోడ్డు మీద కాల్పులు జరిపారు దుండగులు. స్థానికుల కథనం ప్రకారం ప్రింకీ అనే 15 ఏళ్ల అమ్మాయిని రోజూ ఇద్దరు కుర్రవాళ్లు వేధిస్తూ ఉండేవారు
తన రాజకీయ శత్రువు చంద్రబాబు నాయుడుని ఏదోవిధంగా దెబ్బతీయాలని పరితపించిపోతున్న జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి ఇప్పుడు మైసూరా రెడ్డి భుజం మీద తుపాకి పెట్టి ఆయనకు గురిపెట్టవచ్చును. కానీ మున్ముందు ఉద్యమాలు ఊపందుకొన్నట్లయితే అప్పుడు వాటికి వైకాపా మద్దతు ఈయలేదు అలాగని వ్యతిరేకించలేదు కూడా. ఒకవేళ రాయలసీమ ఉద్యమాలకి మద్దతు ఇవ్వాలనుకొంటే అప్పుడు ఉత్తరాంధ్రా, కోస్తా జిల్లాల ప్రజల ఆగ్రహానికి గురికాక తప్పదు. అలాగని ఉద్యమాలకి మద్దతు ఈయకపోయినట్లయితే ఇంతకు ముందు తెలంగాణాలో తుడిచిపెట్టుకొని పోయినట్లే, సీమలోను వైకాపా పూర్తిగా తుడిచిపెట్టుకుపోయే ప్రమాదం ఉంది. అదే పరిస్థితి తేదేపాకు ఎదురవవచ్చును.
తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేసీఆర్ ను అల్లుడు ఫోబియా తెగ భయపెడుతోందట. ఎన్టీఆర్ కి జరిగినట్లుగా తనకూ జరుగుతుందేమోనని అనుమానిస్తున్నారట.ఎన్టీఆర్ నుంచి పదవి లాగేసుకున్నట్లుగా... తన ఫ్యామిలీ నుంచి కూడా ఎవరైనా అలా చేస్తారనే భయంతో కేసీఆర్ వణికిపోతున్నారట.

ఏడు నెలలు గడిచిపోయినా ఇంతవరకు జి.హెచ్.యం.సి. ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహించబడలేదు. కనీసం ఈ ఏడాదిలోగా నిర్వహిస్తారో లేదో తెలియని పరిస్థితి నెలకొని ఉంది. కారణం పెరిగిన జనాభాకి అనుగుణంగా జి.హెచ్.యం.సి. పరిధిలో వార్డుల పునర్విభజన ప్రక్రియా పూర్తి కాకపోవడమేనని ప్రభుత్వ వాదన. ప్రస్తుతం 150 వార్డులుండగా వాటిని 200కి పెంచాలని తెలంగాణా ప్రభుత్వం ప్రయత్నాలు చేస్తోంది. కానీ జనాభా ప్రాతిపదికన విభజించడానికయితే అంత సమయం అవసరం లేదని ఫోరం ఫర్ బెటర్ హైదరాబాద్ సభ్యుల వాదన.

ఏపీ సీఎం చంద్రబాబు ఢిల్లీకి చేరుకున్నారు. ఆర్థిక శిఖరాగ్ర సమావేశంలో ఆయన పాల్గొననున్నారు. అలాగే సీఐఐ సభ్యులతో భేటీ కానున్నారు. అనంతరం ప్రధానమంత్రి సహా పలువురు కేంద్రమంత్రులను బాబు కలిసే అవకాశముంది.

కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ఎన్నికలలో గెలిచినట్లయితే ప్రధానమంత్రి కుర్చీలో కాలు మీద కాలేసుకొని దేశాన్ని పాలించేద్దామని కలలుగన్న రాహుల్ గాంధీ, ప్రస్తుతం చేసేందుకు పనేమీలేక పార్లమెంటు సమావేశాలు జరుగుతున్నపుడు వెనుక బెంచీలలో చిన్న కునుకుతీస్తూ, సమావేశాలు జరగనప్పుడు తన అమేధీ నియోజక వర్గానికి ఓ రౌండేసి వస్తూ కాలక్షేపం చేసేస్తున్నారు.
కాంగ్రెస్ అధ్యక్షురాలు సోనియా గాంధీ ఆమె కుమారుడు రాహుల్ గాంధీలకు నేషనల్ హెరాల్డ్ ఆస్తుల దుర్వినియోగం కేసులో ఆదాయపు శాఖ నోటీసులు జారీచేసింది. సోనియాగాంధీ అల్లుడు రాబర్ట్ వాద్రా పేరు కూడా అనేక భూ కుంభకోణాలలో వినిపించింది. అయితే ఇంతవరకు కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీయే అధికారంలో ఉండటం వలన ఈ కేసులేవీ వారిని ఏమీ చేయలేకపోయాయి. కానీ ఇప్పుడు అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన నరేంద్ర మోడీ అవినీతిపై ఉక్కుపాదం మోపేందుకు సిద్దమవడంతో అవినీతిపరులకు గుండెల్లో గుబులు మొదలయింది.
