Nawaz Sharif promised Modi quick action against terrorists

At last, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif takes initiative and stepped into action. He called up his counterpart of India Narendra Modi on Tuesday afternoon and asserted him that prompt and decisive action will be taken against those behind Pathankot airbase attack.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also stressed him for specific action against individuals and the terror gangs that cooked this conspiracy. In a statement released by PMO, “specific and actionable information in this regard has been provided to Pakistan.” Nawaz Sharif’s initiative may helpful to save the newly developed friendship between two countries and foreign secretary level talks.

India strongly believes that Jaish-e-Mohammad terror gang is behind this attack and asking Pak Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take action against them and he positively responded to PM Modi’s appeal. But, it is interesting to hear him asserting for action against terrorists, while the PoK based United Jihad Council claims responsibility for the attacks. However, his goodwill gesture will certainly help to build confidence and save the relations between two countries.
