Botsa finds nice excuse to participate in the by-elections

By-elections for Nandigama Assembly constituency necessitated with the sudden death of TDP MLA Tangirala Prabhakar Rao. Hence, TDP has allots his seat to his daughter Tangirala Soumya. The sympathy wave stops YSR Congress party from fielding its candidate. Other parties like CPI, CPM and independents are also decided to stay away from the by-elections for their own reasons.

However, the beleaguered Congress party, which couldn’t win a single MLA or MP seat in the recent elections, sees it an opportunity to test the people’s mood to know whether still they hating it or willing to forgive its mistake of dividing the state. So, it fields Bodapati Rama rao as its candidate.

Former PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana has a nice excuse to support his party decision. He said “We have decided to contest the by-elections to teach a good lesson to ruling TDP that fails to implement its elections promise on crop loans waiver.”

So, in case if Congress candidate wins these by-elections, it is to be understood that people are willing to excuse Congress party and agrees with Botsa’s arguments, otherwise it would be another slap for Congress party.
