Pawan Kalyan is likely to tour across AP state soon?

Pawan Kalyan has not turned up after his last visit to Penumaka in the capital city zone. But, his visit to Penumaka has served its purpose of stopping the government from imposing Land Acquisition Act on the farmers. It is learnt that Pawan Kalyan is likely to go on a state wide tour beginning from October 2nd on the eve of Gandhi Jayanthi.   However, he has not given any hint about it in his Twitter account. He remains inactive on his Twitter account since August 28th. According to available information, he is said to be planning to begin his tour from Srikakulam district on October 2nd, in which he will meet farmers and common people to know their opinion on land acquisition by the statement government for various development activities. He is likely to take feedback from them on crop loans waiver, price rise of commodities and vegetables etc.   Currently, Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Sardar’ movie shooting is nearing its completion. Once, it is completed he may take short leave from film industry and launch state wide tour. But, if he really starts a state wide tour, then he may steal the show of Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is planning to intensify his agitation for special status for the state beginning from September 26th.   Earlier, Jagan Mohan Reddy staged two-day dharna at Mangalagiri protesting land acquisition by the statement government for capital city construction. However, Pawan Kalyan steals his show with his few hours’ tour to Penumaka village. So, if Pawan Kalyan really begins touring the state, then Jagan Mohan Reddy has to put his agitations on hold, until he concludes his tour.

No alliance with Janata Parivar: MIM

MIM party’s entry into Bihar Assembly elections may impact the electoral chances of Janata Parivar, Congress party, Samajwadi Party lead by Mulayam Singh and many others, who are based on the large Muslim vote-bank in the state. Hence, Laloo Prasad has invited MIM Chief Asaduddeen Owisi to join hands with their Janata Parivar alliance, which they claim as secular front.   But, Asaduddeen simply turned down his request and asked what did he and Nitish Kumar do to safeguard the interests of Muslims in the state. He asked why the Muslim people living in Seemanchal district are ignored by the state government during their regimes. He plainly told Laloo that MIM party will put up its candidates in 25 constituencies in Seemanchal district and if possible field candidates in other places of the state also.   Next, it is to be seen whether Asaduddeen will join hands with Mulayam Singh or not. However, so far neither of them has made any formal proposal for alliance. But, they may definitely join hands as both their parties are contesting elections alone. So, they badly need each other’s co-operation to make sure at least 50 per cent of their candidates win the elections. MIM is reportedly planning to contest in 40 constituencies.   BJP managed to settle seat sharing issues with its NDA alliance partners. BJP is contesting in 160 constituencies, Lok Janshakthi party lead by Ramvilas Pashwan-40, Hindusthani Avami Morcha lead by the former Chief Minister of Bihar State Jitanram Manjhi-20 seats and Upendra Kushwaha's Rashtriya Lok Samata Party party will be contesting in 23 seats out of 243 assembly seats in the state.

KTR reacts on World Bank Ranking

Telangana IT and Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao has very carefully reacted on World Bank giving second rank to Andhra Pradesh state as 2nd favourable state for conducting business in the country.   He tweets, “Lot of folks wondering about ease of doing business ranking. Not sure about methodology but, we will let our work speak & not fret over this.”   Actually, being second richest state in the country and having a fully developed capital city like Hyderabad, if Telangana state gets 2nd rank then no one would have raised eye-brows, but Telangana government may be shocked when it was ranked 13th and AP gets 2nd rank.   Of course, people of Andhra Pradesh were very much worried when the state was divided. But, within a short span of 14 months, Andhra Pradesh state has retained its self-confidence and spearheading with development activities. KTR may say that he is not sure about methodology for giving ranks in ease of business. But, even a common man knows that several factors like power and water supply, natural and human resources, growth opportunities, consistency in governance, State-Centre relations, business and industrial friendly governance etc. are taken into consideration for giving ranks to any state.   Telangana state is also rapidly developing. But, Chief Minister KCR is often sending conflicting signals to business houses and industries. So far, he couldn’t remove the insecure feeling that he and his party has created in them during agitation period. His un-ending fights with AP government are sending wrong message to entrepreneurs whereas AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is always prepared for compromise with him for rapid development in both states.   Both Chief Ministers have announced many big projects during last 14 months, but Chandrababu Naidu is able to make some progress with them. For example, Chief Minister KCR has announced many projects like construction of high rise buildings around Hussen Sagar, sports city, entertainment city, education city, express ways, sky ways, infrastructure development in rural areas etc. but, none of the projects were not launched till today despite being second richest state in the country.   But, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has made good progress with his dream projects of capital city, metro rail projects, Pattiseema projects etc. He managed to get 5 higher educational institutions to the state within a short span of 14 months.   He manages to build lot of confidence in the people about bright future of the state and people also trusting him very much, whereas Telangana people have difference of opinion on his ruling.   Chandrababu Naidu is maintaining strong relations with the Centre despite facing several problems and challenges, whereas Telangana Chief Minister KCR has never bothered to maintain strong relation with the Centre. It was never been consistent. Many positive and negative factors like these may turn deciding factors while ranking the states.

K Haribabu appreciates CM Naidu

Opposition parties including BJP have criticized TDP government for taking up Pattiseema Project. YSR Congress party president Jagan Mohan Reddy even conducted a two-day bus-yatra opposing Pattiseema Project. However, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who is firm with his decision, continued the project. Recently, 60 TMCs of Godavari water was released into Polavaram right canal that merges with Krishna River, as a part of trial of the project.   State BJP leaders have visited this project recently. Later speaking to media Visakhapatnam MP Kambampati Haribabu said, “Earlier, like many others in the state, I also criticized the AP government for taking up this project. But now I realized the importance and purpose of this project. I appreciate Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for his foresight. We will extend our full support to him for speedy completion of this project. We will do our part of job in completing Polavaram Project also.”   To be frank, Kambampati Haribabu is known to be a critic of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu from the very beginning. He criticized Chandrababu Naidu on some issues. But, this is first time that he is appreciating the Chief Minister, that too on a project for which Chandrababu Naidu has been criticized by the opposition parties. This is revealing that Chandrababu Naidu took a right decision and the project is going to serve its purpose of supplying drinking and irrigation water to Rayalaseema districts very soon.

Chandrababu dedicates Thotapalli Project to Nation

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today dedicates Thotapalli Project to the Nation. He laid foundation stone for this project in Vizinagaram district exactly 12 years ago and inaugurates it today amid the presence of his ministers, MPs, MLAs and farmers came from surrounding villages.   The project was built with a cost of Rs.779 crores and provides water to nearly 1.20 lakhs acres in 17 Mandals in Vizinagaram and Srikakulam districts. Actually, this project is supposed to complete very long back, but delayed because the previous Congress government neglected it. Chandrababu Naidu, who listed out several small and big pending projects has been completing on priority basis. He named this project after late Sardar Goutu Lachchanna Project.   Speaking on this occasion, Chandrababu Naidu said “My government is planning to supply drinking and irrigation water to all districts by linking rivers in the state. We have linked Krishna and Godavari projects with Pattiseema Project with which we plan to supply water to Rayalaseema districts. My dream is to make the state free from the clutches of draught and unemployment. Hence, we are putting lot of efforts for it ever since we came into power. But, the opposition parties are creating hurdles in our development activities by politicizing every issue. I appeal the people of the state not to lend their ears to false stories being speared by opposition parties against our government.”
