YSRCP to make two day protests on 27th

YSR Congress party president Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was arrested by CBI in connection with disproportionate assets cases will complete one year in jail on May27th. Hence, his party leaders have planned to conduct two-day state wide protests on May 27th and 28th. They are also planning for a candle light march in the evenings on 27th and 28th. He was summoned by the CBI court to attend personnally along with other co-accused in his cases including Ex Ministers Sabita Indra Reddy, Dharmana Prasada rao and others on June 7th. Actually, YSRCP leaders and Jagan Mohan Reddy’s family members have expected that he will definitely get bail in the last month but he was not granted. Even Supreme Court has rejected his bail petition and extended 4 months time to CBI for completing its investigation. Hence, Jagan can’t come out of jail before September. But Enforcement Directorate, which is also simultaneously conducting investigation about his foreign links, may seek his custody once he is released on bail from CBI custody. Hence, it is understood that he has a rough road ahead for him.

YSRCP suspends Kakani

Kakani Govardhan Reddy, the convener of YSR Congress party of Nellore has resigned to his post few weeks ago for encouraging his rival group in the district by the party leadership. Ever since he and his followers have been staying away from party activities. The conflict between Govardhan and their rivals has reached its peak with locking of the party office by Govardhan followers, when Murali who was appointed as constituency in-charge comes to office for taking charge of the party. Jagan Mohan Reddy has excused Konda Surekha couple for the same reasons, but suspends Govardhan and his followers from the party for their anti party activities. Govardhan and his followers are expected to join Congress party very soon. There is Konathala Ramakrishna issue is also still to be resolved in the party, who has raised banner objecting Dadi Veerabhadra rao’s entry into party. According to sources, he was also already served show cause notices and he too is expected to return to Congress party soon.

Jayaprada lobbying for ticket

Jayaprada has been looking for a political party that can offer her ticket to contest for Lok Sabha from Rajhamundry only. She has approached both TDP and YSR Congress parties for the same but none of them have shown any interest in her, as she has no cadre support in the particular constituency. More over her condition of Rajhamundry ticket from Rajhamundry has narrowed her chances of entry into state political parties. Hence, as a last effort few weeks back she met Sonia Gandhi and expressed her interest in joining the party and also about her condition. Though, no formal assurance was given to her, she got a favorable reaction from Rajhamundry MP Undavalli Arun Kumar. He said he is ready to help her in obtaining party ticket and he is willing to be promoted to Rajya Sabha, in case party wants to allot his ticket to her. Yet, no formal announcement was made by party until now. Hence, she once again turned-up at a party thrown by PM on the eve of UPa completing 4 years term in government. There she was found accompanied by her mentor Amar Singh, who have good contacts with top brass of the Congress party. According to reports they both have talked to Sonia Gandhi in private about this issue. So, soon Jayaprada may be confirmed of her berth in Congress train that takes her to Rajhamundry.

High command ignores, T-Cong. MPs in dilemma

The three T-Congress MPs Vivek, Manda Jagannadham and Rajayya and senior Congress leader K.Keshav rao, who revolts against Congress high command, have found themselves in fix, as their party high command has not responded to their May 30th deadline. MPs Vivek and Rajayya have tried to meet Sonia and Rahul Gandhi during a party at New Delhi recently but were not granted audience by both. Hence, they have no other option but to join TRS only. But, at the same time they suspect TRS president KCR, whether he is playing double game with them, as he is promising party tickets of their constituencies to others also. KCR has assured Rajayya a ticket from Warangal, but at the same he also assured Kadiyam Srihari for the same. Even before their joining into party, TRS cadres in Mehboob Nagar has raised banner objecting Vivek and Vinod’s entry into party. KCR says that many more top leaders from Congress and TDP are on their way to TRS. If, they also join the party, then who will be given preference and who will be set aside by KCR? This question worries the T-Congress MPs. However, TRS is making elaborate arrangements to hold a grand meeting at Nizam College grounds at Hyderabad on June 2nd to welcome them into party. But, KCR might have planned this to build pressure on them to avoid further delay or postponement of their joining into party. Although K. Keshav rao and Manda Jagannadham are seem fully prepared to join TRS, MPs Vivek and Rajayya are still said to be in dilemma. On the other side Congress, which has the practice of swinging into action in the last minute, may play spoilsport with KCR’s plans. Congress high command may summon the T-Congress MPs to Delhi just hours before their joining into TRS and may keep them intact with party lines as it did with K.Keshav rao in the last week. It will not only spoil their relations with KCR but also badly effects KCR’s reputation in the region. So, T-Congress MPs become pawns in this political drama played by KCR and Congress high command. Let us see who will win over the other in this game.

Police summon BCCI Prez.Srinivasan’s son-in-law

Mumbai crime branch police have searched the house of Gurunath Meiyappan, son-in-law of BCCI president and CSK team owner N.Srinivasan, located at the posh Cenotaph Road in Chennai on Thursday around 2pm. His name was surfaced during the interrogation of Bollywood actor Vindu Dara Singh in the IPL spot fixing charges. Gurunath is principle of Chennai Super Kings team. The four member Mumbai crime branch police team was assisted by the special ‘Q’ team officials of Chennai police department. However, they have found Gurunath went underground soon after his name flashed in TV channels across the country. Hence, the team headed by Nandkumar Gopale has handed over summons to a manager of the Chennai Super Kings team at their Chennai office and also pasted a notice asking Gurunath to attend before them at their Mumbai office by Friday evening without fail. Joint Police Commissioner (Crime) Himanshu Roy, who is directing the probe in the scam, has told the media that "We are hopeful that Meiyappan will cooperate with the police. In case he fails to show up within the allotted time, there are procedures in law to ensure his availability, but it would not augur well." BCCI president Srinivasan is not available for any comments in this regard.

Sharmila picks Ministers’ statements to defend Jagan

The two ministers Dharmana Prasada rao and Sabita Indra Reddy’s statements after resigning to their posts have given enough strength to YSR Congress party’s arguments about Jagan Mohan Reddy’s innocence in the disproportionate assets cases. His sister Sharmila in her address to people at Tadepalligudem in west Godavari district has asked “When the two ministers appeal the media and the people not to tag them as ‘tainted ministers’ because they were not yet proved guilty by any court and strongly believe they are innocent, then how can the same Congress leaders are calling my brother Jagan Mohan Reddy as ‘tainted’, who is also not proved guilty by any court until now. When, they feel pain for branding their ministers as tainted ones, then won’t we feel the same pain when our leader is branded as tainted? Even CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is also giving his judgment in my brother’s cases, stating my brother will be jailed for at least 14 years for his crimes. How can he say like that when my brother is not proved guilty by any courts? His statement itself is showing that their partiality.” “The two ministers are now agreeing that there are no irregularities taken place in the G.O.s signed by them and what ever decision taken by them then was a collective decision of the cabinet. Then how can the congress leaders blame my father and brother for the G.O.s now? When the Congress ministers are stating that no irregularties taken place and they are innocent, then how come my father and brother become tainted in these cases?” The ministers, who describes my brother as a economic criminal and wants him hanged in the public for his offenses, once stood in front of my father’s chamber for minister post. He proved to be a traitor now.” I once again reiterate that both Congress and TDP have conspired against my brother for their political interests. But, he will come clean and rule the state. He will bring us the golden era of Rajanna Rajyam again once he is become CM of the state. Congress and TDP should understand that it is not possible to stop the dawning sun. ”

Even while, T-Congress MPs have set a deadline of May 30th for party high command to spell its stand on Telangana issue and threatens to leave the party after the expiry of deadline, Defense Minister AK Anthony has once again made it clear that Telangana issue can’t be resolved in the near future as it is very complicated one. He said this during a party thrown by Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh on the eve of UPA successfully completing 4 years in government on yesterday. This will be a clear hint for T-Congress MPs that now they need not to wait until the May 30th deadline and they are free to take their own decision. However, two MPs Vivek and Rajayya, who met TRS president KCR at his farm house and expressed their readiness to join TRS party, have attended this party, hinting that they are having second thoughts now over leaving the party. In such case, again K. Keshav rao and Manda Jagannadham were left behind in this political game.

How could YSRCP benefit with tainted ministers

The intention behind showering sympathy on the tainted Congress ministers by YSR Congress party is to attract them into party, with which it believes will fall onto safe side. If, it could rope-in all the tainted ministers into party, it believes that they will defend the party from the Congress, TDP attacks and also in the courts. So, if it could attract as many ministers as possible into party, they not only will argue on Jagan’s behalf but also reveal how the Congress party has conspired against Jagan Mohan Reddy. Further, it will improve the party base in Srikakulam district and Telangana districts. Hence, YSR Congress party is desperately trying to create a split in Congress party by talking in favor of tainted ministers. If, it is successful with its efforts, then definitely it will be big blow for Congress party.

Raghunandan rao reveals shocking information

The expelled TRS leader Raghunandan rao, who lodged a complaint with CBI today against TRS leaders has stated that TRS leaders have collected Rs.10 crores from industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad and rather huge amount from Stylish Homes MD Ranga rao for launching T news channel and news paper. He has submitted related evidences and asked to investigate into these forcible collections by TRS. Later speaking to media he said, “CBI officials have asked me make myself available for further enquiry soon. I am going disclose more stunning truths about TRS leaders in the coming days.”

Ponnam and Jana wants to stick to party

Ponnam Prabhakar and K.Jana Reddy, who used to be in front runners in the Telangana fight inside the party have declared that they would like to continue their fight for Telangana but will remain in Congress party only. Ponnala said that he has confidence on his party high command over Telangana issue. Jana Reddy reiterated that Congress lone can give Telangana and no other parties including TRS can achieve it. Hence, he would like to continue with Congress party only. Madhu Yashki Goud, Gutta Sukhendar Reddy and few others have so far not reacted to PC Chacko’s controversial statement over Telangana issue, which means they would like go along with party.

Are TRS leaders going to be fixed by CBI

The suspended TRS leader Raghunandan rao has told the media that he has handed over the evidences to CBI JD Lakshmi Narayana today, which proves the offences made by TRS leaders. He said TRS leaders have links with Stylish homes MD Ranga rao and Matrix Prasad. He has submitted relevant documents proving their links with the duo. JD said he will be called again if necessary after consulting the lawyers and the accused. It seems, this is going to link TRS leaders with Jagan’s case somewhere in the near future for their deals with Ranga rao and Prasad. However. TRS and Raghunandan rao has been maintaining a surprise silence during the last three days. But, the present move made by Raghunandan rao, has taken their fight to higher level by brining CBI into the scene. TRS leaders may land into troubles if CBI gathers dust from Raghunandan rao’s allegations.

CM to lead all party leaders to Delhi on Babli

The fight against the Babli project is the last thing in state government’s priority list, because it has several other serious issues like consequences of removing its tainted ministers from cabinet, T-Congress MPs leaving the party, decedents issues etc. to be addressed first. However, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy has find some time to hold all party meeting at his chamber in secretariat on Monday to discuss Babli project issue. Ministers Sudarshan Reddy, government whip Gandra Venkata Ramana, TDP leaders Tummala Nageswara rao, Errabelli Dayakar rao, Peddi Reddy, TRS leaders Vinod Kumar and some other leaders from other parties also participated in this meeting. It was decided in the meeting that the government will file a review petition in Supreme Court on Babli project. CM has agreed to lead the all parties leaders to New Delhi to pressurize the Central government demanding to order Maharashtra government to stop further construction activities on the other project lined up behind Babli project. The state government will supervise whether the specially constituted three member committee is safeguarding the interests of the state or not. Minister Sudarshan Reddy has assured the members of the meeting that the government will intensify its fight against Babli taking expert lawyers help. However, TDP leader Nageswara rao later speaking to media has said “It is of no use fighting now. The dam has been already constructed and what we can do now is assure proper release of waters from the dam.”

Will Congress let its T-MPs slips out of its hand

T-Congress MPs-Manda Jagannadham, Vivek, Rajayya and senior Congress leader K. Keshav rao, who met KCR recently at his farm house after expressing their interest to join his party, bargain for the party tickets to themselves and their family members. According to reports, KCR has offered K.Keshav rao party working president post besides sending him to Rajya Sabha after the general elections. He also promised ticket to his son to from Ranga Reddy Assembly constituency. MP Vivek was assured of Lok Sabha ticket besides assurance for his brother for Assembly ticket from Bellampalli constituency. KCR has promised to give Nagarkurnool MP ticket to Manda Jagannadham and MLA ticket to his son from Alampur constituency. Sitting MP from Sirisilla, Rajayya was assured of Assembly ticket from Kareem Nagar. T-Congress MPs, who are planning to quit the party on Telangana reasons are bargaining with TRS chief for party tickets for themselves and their family members also, which may be the other reason fro leaving the party. KCR, who boast himself as the only savior of the Telangana people and the agitations, throwing bait to T-Congress MPs to attract them into his party. He is cleverly utilizing Chacko’s statement, which comes as a blessing for him. But, whether Congress high command let its MPs to slip out of its hand? Is it part of its game to distract TRS president and his aides? Let us hope the picture will be come clear within the next few days.

Ministers unhappy with party decision

All most all the ministers in Kiran Kumar Reddy cabinet have met Dharmana Prasada rao and Sabita Indra Reddy, who were asked to step down from their posts by CM. They expressed their solidarity to them and assured to stand by them in their legal fight against CBI charges framed against them. Whether they will stand by them or not, they have made it clear that they are opposing the party high command’s decision in their regard. Labor minister Danam Nagendar’s statement come as a big shock to government as well as to the Congress party. He said, since CBI has found wrong with all the 26 G.O.s issued during late Rajashekar Reddy’s regime, entire cabinet ministers should be made responsible for it, instead of blaming and making scapegoats of a handful of ministers, as the G.O.s are collective decisions of the cabinet ministers. Being a minister in ruling Congress party, his statement will encourage the opposition parties to take lead from his statement and start demanding for expulsion of all the ministers in Kiran Kumar Reddy’s cabinet, who have served in previous government. More over, his statement is providing a weapon to beleaguered YSR Congress party to demand club all the ministers with jagan Mohan Reddy’s cases. Evidently, the state Congress ministers have revealed their discontent with party high command’s decision with their actions and statements.

T-Congress MPs meeting with KCR

AICC official spokes person PC Chacko’s recent statement against Telangana has had shown its adverse effect on T-Congress MPs. Vivek, Rajayya, Mandha and Keshav rao have met KCR in his farm house in Medak district today, where they have expressed their readiness to join TRS party very soon. Kadiyam Srihari, Harish rao and K.Taraka Ramarao are also present in this meeting. According to reports, the T-Congress MPs have reportedly assured to join TRS party, if the high command fails to make a favorable announcement on Telangana before 30th of this month. However, KCR, who wants to strike the iron when its hot has stressed them to join immediately. He asked whether they are still hopeful about getting a positive response from their high command on Telangana issue before the deadline. However, the T-Congress MPs have assured him to join TRS only when the party fails to respond before the May 30th deadline set by them.

Subbirami Reddy claims rights on Vizag MP seat

Congress party Rajya Sabha member T.Subbirami Reddy has intensified his efforts for obtaining Lok Sabha seat from Vizag constituency. Few weeks ago, he met AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi and narrated about the services he is offering to city and the people since decades. He asked her to allot Lok Sabha ticket from Vizag constituency. Speaking to media at Vizag he said “I have been serving the city and the people since many decades. People are also aware of my services. Actually, Daggubati couple have approached me seeking my help in obtaining ticket from Vizag. I helped them because, I am representing as member of Rajya Sabha. But, I am definitely going to contest from Vizag only in the next general elections. Hence, Purandeswari has to find some suitable place for contesting in the next elections. I have all rights to claim for party ticket from Vizag city.”

Kadiyam now sings to TRS tunes

Kadiyam Srihari, who recently joins TRS party has begun singing to TRS party tunes. He said “TDP has no credibility either in Seemandhra or in Telangana regions, because of its two-eyes policy. Though, it has not clearly stated its stand on Telangana in the all party meeting held by center last year, being a Telangana person, I took the opportunity to further clarified that TDP is wanting separate state. But, it was never been acknowledged by party president Chandrababu or any other leader in the party. I have asked him to clarify on the issue but he ignored my suggestions because he is not honest with his stand.” He said “I have suggested Chandrababu to utilize the opportunity of no confidence motion moved brought by TRS and YSRCP, to bring down Kiran Kumar Reddy’s government, but it was also ignored like my many other suggestions. It appears TDP is gradually nearing Congress party.” “TDP’s present fight against tainted ministers is also a big drama to attract the people,” said Kadiyam.

Sabita, Dharmana resigned?

Home minister Sabita Indra Reddy and R&B minister Dharmana Prasada rao, who were summoned to Hyderabad by CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, were reportedly asked to step down from their posts following the party high command’s orders. According to reports, Sabita has submitted her resignation letter to CM. Dharmana, who submits his resignation letter to CM in August last year, has asked to forward the same to Governor for approval. However, so far there is official announcement was made in this regard by either side. Dharmana and Sabita have left CM’s residence in Jubilee Hills area around 10.20pm on Sunday night without talking to media. Both the ministers are said to be very angry on party high command for forcing them to leave the posts for not their fault. It is learnt that Dharmana is planning to resign to his MLA post also. There are reports that he may join YSR Congress party soon. But, CM is helpless in their regard as he is obliged to follow the high command orders. We may see a chain of reactions between Congress leaders and them from today onwards.
