Congress MP Palvai’s statement acknowledging it!

Telangana Congress leaders are playing every trick that they are familiar with in the Warangal by elections campaigning. Congress MP Palvai Govardhan Reddy alleges that TRS is going to join NDA alliance after GHMC elections.   “CM KCR has promised to merge TRS party in our Congress party, on a condition that separate Telangana state should be formed. Our party sticks to its promise but not KCR. He took ‘U’ turn after separate state was created. He is now eyeing NDA alliance for two purposes. One is to bail himself out from the CBI cases and secondly to ensure union minister post for his daughter Kavita. Currently he is negotiating with BJP top leaders for union minister post. Once, he gets nod from them, then TRS will officially join the NDA alliance. He may join it any time after GHMC elections,” said Palvai Govardhan Reddy.   Whether, his allegations are true or politically motivated, they are underlining a very important point that Congress party bargained with KCR for Telangana state creation. Since, he promised to merge his party into Congress party, UPA Government created Telangana state. Hence, it can be understood that the bifurcation decision was purely politically motivated taken in the interests of both parties.   During this process, the UPA government simply ignored the opinions and protests of Andhra people. Congress high command is very much aware of its consequences, but it goes ahead hoping to merge TRS party and win the general elections in Telangana state. But, its idea back fires at it. KCR takes ‘U’ turn, Congress party has been defeated in both states.

Is Jagan comes to help TRS or defeat it?

If, the opposition parties’ allegations are to be believed, Telangana Chief Minister KCR, who roped in YSR Congress party to split the votes of opposition parties in the Warangal by elections, may be regretting now for his decision as it is back firing at him. TRS leaders taking part in campaigning proved to be no matching for Jagan Mohan Reddy. None of them are able to defend their party from his strong criticism and his ferocious attacks on the TRS government.   Moreover, unlike other opposition leaders of the state, he is pin pointedly speaking about many issues and mistakes committed by the TRS government during its last 16 months ruling of the state. He is also highlighting it’s negligence in rectifying the same. During his first two days campaigning he asked why the TRS government fails to wave off the crop loans, providing two bed room flats and 3 acres of land to poor.   He asked why the government turned blind eye on farmers’ suicides. He elaborately spoke about TRS government’s failure in giving input subsidies, scholarships to students, addressing the Aasa workers problems etc. He criticized it for its failure to control price rise of essential commodities and vegetables. Jagan Mohan Reddy speaks about so many things and issues that no other party can speak.   However, TRS leaders are failing to respond to his severe criticism against their government. Opposition parties are questioning about their silence and they describe it as a clear indication for understanding between TRS and YSR Congress parties. Hence, Jagan Mohan Reddy appeared to be making damage instead of bailing out the ruling TRS party in these by elections.
