The Congress party seems has suddenly developed interest on the Andhra Pradesh state and its people, which once has rudely behaved with them. The reason for their sudden interest is not a secret. It wants to win the hearts of the people and thus retain its lost glory in the state. Hence, they are stressing the Modi government to grant financial package, special status, railway zone, Polavaram Project etc. The Congress leaders might have believed that this is the only door left open for them to re-enter into the AP State.

 

Whether, it is possible for it to win back the people or not, if it is planning to revamp its position in the state with this option, then what about the BJP that is implementing the promises made by the UPA government and in the AP Reorganization Bill? Will it allow the Congress party to claim this credit also the way it claims the credit of carving Telangana state earlier? However, Sonia Gandhi has faced some embarrassing moments in the Loksabha when the members of the house, who participated in the discussion of amending the AP Reorganization Bill-2014 have plainly blamed her and her UPA government for constituting such a bill that need many amendments to rectify the mistakes in it.
