Sanjay Dutt given 4 weeks extension

Responding to Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt’s petition appealing 6 months extension to surrender himself, Supreme Court has given 4 weeks extension only. He asked the court to let him complete his commitments to number of films which has invested around Rs25o crores on him. But, the court disagreeing with his lawyers’ argument has granted 4 weeks extension only. Hence, he has to surrender before the TADA Court on or before 18th May. Sanjay was convicted under the Arms Act in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case.
