People rob cots from Rahul's UP rally again

In yet another embarrassment for the congress party and especially its Uttar Pradesh unit, people robbed cots from Congress Vice President's khat sabha again. On Wednesday, the Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi addressed the people of Mirzapur through a Khaat Sabha, which however, turned like his previous meet in Deoria and Ambedkar nagar. As soon as the address was over, people started running away with the cots, in spite of the announcement discouraging them to do so. The organisers of his campaign seemed to have learnt little after the Deoria incident. They still kept cots for the farmers, however, anticipating similar khat-loot, announcements of "khaat chodke chale jao (Leave without taking the cots)" were made, but none cared for it but went ahead with taking away the cots. Rahul Gandhi is currently on a Kisan Yatra, a farmers' rally, across Uttar Pradesh in an attempt to reinvigorate the local Congress workers in the run-up to the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. UP is a politically important state, where the Congress has lost its way as the landscape is dominated by regional parties like the Mulayam Singh Yadav-led Samajwadi Party and the Mayawati-led Bahujan Samaj Party. While addressing the supporters Rahul took potshots at Akhilesh Yadav on the ongoing family rift which has now become a matter of public discussion. Rahul said that, before the elections Akhilesh Yadav wants to mend his cycle which is not possible now.

Virat Kohli is ' ' says Yuvraj Singh

India's stylish left-handed batsman Yuvraj Singh has given a candid interview recently and let out a lot of unknown details about his life. He also divulged couple of secrets of his friends from the cricketing field as well and the most interesting detail is about the Indian Test Cricket captain, Virat Kohli. He said that several Team India players are miser for they hardly spend any money, when in groups, and Virat Kohli being the biggest miser of them all. On Virat Kohli he said, “I don’t know how to explain. It’s like this is yours and this is mine, you will pay for this one and I will pay for that one.   You know, in our Punjabi culture, we don’t have that, if we are going out, then one person pays but some people are different and currently, Virat Kohli is the biggest miser. So, every time we go out, it’s me always paying and I have to force him to give the money”. He went on to talk about the most successful comeback bowler of recent times, Ashish Nehra, he said, "Usually Ashish is very generous but he gets miserable at times. When he got married, he used to say, please try to understand, I have to manage my wife and kids, I cannot spend much”. "There have been many misers in our team, especially the seniors and I cannot reveal their names because this is a very sensitive issue," he added. He also said that “It’s not like they are miser in that sense but it’s just a fun banter between us like why aren’t you paying".

CM & Mins away as Delhi reports 4 Chikungunya Deaths

The national capital has been hit by dengue, chikungunya and malaria and a hundreds of cases are being reported in the Delhi hospitals. But something which is grabbing the headlines out of this is the fact that the cabinet members and the Chief Minister of the ruling party AAP are missing in action from the capital. As chief minister Arvind Kejriwal campaigns in Punjab, seeking to expand his party’s footprint beyond Delhi, people in his own state are locked in a losing battle with chikungunya and dengue, both of which have assumed epidemic proportions. The municipal corporation data shows dengue, chikungunya and malaria has affected 1158, 1,057 and 21 people, respectively. But these numbers are misleading. "The figures released by corporations are not reflective of the crisis at all. You need to the emergency section of any hospital to understand that," a senior doctor at AIIMS said.   The hospital has 38 beds in the emergency wing but has been getting 150-200 patients at any given time. The opposition is fuming at the failure of the ruling party as the Chief Minister is away in Bengaluru for his treatment, while the Health Minister Satyender Jain is on a visit to Goa to oversee the Aam Aadmi Party's preparations for next year's assembly elections. Manish Sisodia, deputy chief minister and the man in charge of Delhi during Mr Kejriwal's 10-day visit to Bengaluru, is also not in town. He is in Finland for an education programme. Kapil Mishra, one AAP minister who is available in Delhi, blamed the BJP-dominated Municipal Corporation of Delhi or MCD, asking where the "mayor has disappeared". While the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare JP Nadda also said that centre is ready to provide any help needed. “Centre is ready to provide whatever assistance needed by state governments,” Nadda said on Tuesday.
