Gorantla Chowdary acknowledges rebels’ complaints

These days Chandrababu has been repeatedly telling the people that his seven month long padayatra has brought a lot of change in his attitude and he is now completely a changed man. However, some complaints against him during the recent times made by none other than his party senior leaders reveal that he is a completely changed man but in favor of cash rich businessman.   These days he is mainly accused for hugging the cash rich industrialists and businessmen while distancing from party cadres. Two senior leaders Dadi Veerabhadra rao and Kadiyam Srihari, who closely associated with him for the last 30 years, have simply slashed their ties with the party because of this reason also. But, Chandrababu followers like Revanth Reddy, Errabelli Dayakar rao and Motkupalli have overpowered them with their vociferous style of attacks, instead of doing some soul searching.   But, still the issue raised by them has remained there to be addressed by the party high command. Therefore, it is once again surfaced with senior leader Gorantla Buchchaiah Chowdary’s speech in Mahanadu meetings.   He said “Chandrababu admits that some mistakes were occurred. But, he should assert that it will not be repeated again and again. We have to leave our proud attitude, if we are really serious about party future. Those thousands and lakhs of party workers’ efforts gave us this chance to sit here. But, I believe that their efforts are going drain as they are being ignored by the party. While, they are striving hard for the party in the remote, some others are enjoying the fruits of their efforts. We need restore the party cadres’ confidence on party, otherwise it will be harmful to party future.”   Whether, Chandrababu alarmed with his statement or not, Buchchaiah Chowdary has perfectly projected the problems inside the party at right platform.

We are firm on our Telangana stand: Babu

During the first day of two-day Mahanadu meetings held at Gandipet yesterday, Chandrababu has asserted that his party has not changed its stand on Telangana issue and reiterates that they are still stick to their consent letter given to Center on October 2008.   He categorically said “In deference to the sentiments of people of the region, Telugu Desam supports the demand for separate statehood to Telangana. TDP had said this in a resolution adopted by its politburo in October 2008. We again have asserted the same in the all party meeting held in December last year. Yet some people are trying to sling mud on us by repeatedly demanding us to declare our stand on Telangana. We have made ourselves very clear on this burning issue. It is Center that needs to react on this issue and not us. The UPA government is sitting pretty on it.”   Chandrababu regrets for having poll alliance with TRS during 2009 elections with which his party fails to return to power. “We were obliged to offer 45 seats to TRS, but it could hardly win 10 seats only. If, we would have kept those 45 seats for ourselves, definitely we would have won them. That’s why, we have decided not to go for any poll alliance with any party in the forthcoming elections.”   Mahanadu meeting paid rich tributes to the martyrs of Telangana fight. Chandrababu has announced that if his party is elected to power, he will provide employment to kin of the martyrs’ family members.
