Boda Janardhan leaves YCP

Senior YCP leader Boda Janardhan has resigned to party and joins Congress party. He said the party has lost its charisma in Telangana area and it will be completely wiped off from the region after the elections. Congress has assured him of MP ticket either from Pedapalli or Chennur constituencies.   However, YCP stated that Boda has left the party purely on his own agenda. YCP has always assured ticket to him and even now also its ready to offer him ticket if he returns to party. YCP will be badly affected with his resignation as he is a very influential leader in Telangana region.   Earlier, Boda Janardhan Reddy has worked in TDP for two decades. Boda has left TDP and joins YCP soon after its launching. He has strived a lot to strengthen the party in his Adilabad district. Keeping in view of his image YCP made him as district in-charge and also appointed him as party convener.   Boda was elected to Assembly for four times from his Chennur constituency. Veteran Congress leader G.Venkata Swami is his bitter rival in the constituency. He lost to his son G.Vinod in the last elections with a very narrow margin.   Everything was fine until the arrival of Indra Karan Reddy and Janak Prasad. Gradually, he developed differences with them and his importance in the party has been reduced. At the same time Congress also eyes him as an ideal candidate, who can be substitute to G.Vinod, who recently left the party and joins TRS. So, Congress rolled a red carpet to Boda offering party ticket from his constituency.
