Relief operations turns up to be ugly political war

The relief operations taken-up by various state governments to ensure the safe return of their people, has turned up to be a ugly political war between political parties in the country. To begin with, Kiran Sarkar is fuming on TDP for taking initiative leaving no chance to it for its delayed entry.   Shivasena chief Uddhav Thackeray, who is known for hatred ness towards other than Maharashtra people and dislikes other than Hindus, lashes at Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi for being narrow minded in extending help to Gujarati people only, while ignoring the rest. Uddav in his party’s mouth piece news paper ‘Samna’ writes that Modi, who has been given a national role to play by the BJP and dreams to rule the country as PM, should not speak in narrow terms for only Gujaratis.   However, Uddahv is all praise to Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan for he shown in difference between Maharahstrians and other people. He suggested Modi, if he dreams to be a national leader, then he should broaden his view and consider all the people of the country as his own people.   However, Chandrababu has praised Narendra Modi for his spontaneous response and relief measures comparing to the poor response by Kiran Sarkar.   Central government also suggests the state governments to refrain from rescue operations and leave the matter to Uttarakhand and to the Center so as a proper co-ordination between rescue teams can be achieved.   Uttarakhand government has asked all the other state governments to stay away from relief operations as it is hampering the rescue operations. However, it is accepting medical aid and chopper services from the other governments.   It seems every political party involved in these operations is worried about its rivals’ rescue activities and eager to grab the opportunity to gain full credit of the situation.

KCR predicts Jagan will be jailed

TRS president has dropped a bomb on state politics with his latest analytical statement on the state and national level politics.   He predicts that YSR Congress party president Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was arrested in disproportionate assets cases, will be found guilty and be jailed. Hence, his party will have the impact and Congress is going to benefit out of the situation. He opined however, it won’t be any helpful to TDP.   He suggested to T-JAC that it should not to insist him to implement its decisions as he has to take care of his party first. Instead, he suggested it to ensure its decisions be in favor of TRS party and won’t be against party interests.   Responding to a question on why TRS distances from BJP, he said there are around 35,000 votes of minorities and Christian communities in the region. If, TRS joins hands with BJP, then it has to loose those votes. So, TRS prefers to stay away from BJP. However, if TRS could bag 10-12 MP seats in the forthcoming elections, then it can join hands with BJP led NDA or Congress led UPA government depending on the then situation.   He opined Congress will not let the NDA form the government, as it fears that once Narendra Modi got a chance to rule the country as Prime Minister, he will not let Rahul Gandhi have that chance forever. So, KCR opined Congress will try to form the government taking support of small and big parties of the country to keep Modi away from PM post. In such situation, TRS can play king maker role and demand for separate Telangana, opined KCR.

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagawath meets Advani

The consequent developments takes place after Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi was made as party campaigning president in its national executives meeting held at Goa recently, has virtually brings BJP to its knees.   Advani quits all his posts in the party protesting Modi’s elevation in the party. Then, JD (U) snapped its two decade long relation with BJP led NDA. Congress grabs the chance and extends its support to JD (U) during confidence motion in Bihar Assembly. This may blossom a new friendship between the two parties.   The timing of these developments alerts BJP top brass as well as its mentor RSS. BJP some how has managed to convince Advani withdraw his resignation letter. RSS Chief Mohan Baghawath also met Advani at his home in New Delhi yesterday and had a one and half hour long discussions with him. He asked Advani to refrain from going to media over the internal issues. He asked Advani to align with the party and work for its victory in the forthcoming elections, instead of handing over the opportunity to Congress in the forthcoming elections.   He brushed out Advani’s fears about Modi’s elevation and said the decision can be retrieved now. He also turned down his appeals of removing of RSS joint secretary Suresh Soni and BJP general secretary Ram Lal. Bhagawath’s briefing to Advani’s indicates that RSS disagree with Advani’s stand regarding Modi’s elevation.   This cab be considered as a polite message to Advani from RSS asking him to fall in line with party or else he can retire from the party.
