One more case slapped against actress Anjali

There is a new twist in actress Anjali’s case. Her aunt Bharati, who earlier has filed a petition in Madras High Court seeking her possession, has filed another petition in the same court asking for maintenance from the actress. She appealed the court to direct the actress to pay Rs.50,000 per month for her maintenance, as she has built her career. The court adjourned the case to August 14th.   Anjali, who flees away from her aunty Bharati’s home in Chennai and lands in Hyderabad few months ago, has made severe allegations against her aunt and a Kollywood director. Anjali blamed her aunt Bharati and the director for harassing for money and robbing her hard earned money. But, then her aunt not only refutes her allegations but also tried to project herself as a well wisher of the actress, who wants to stop her from ruining life. Then, Bharati has said that her husband is a contractor and his earnings are enough for her to run the family. So, whatever Anjali has earned was spent on her and balance was deposited in her account.   She also stated that she purchased a flat on Anjali’s name from her earnings. She has tried to project the actress as mentally ill and needs her supervision round the clock. So, she filed a petition in the court seeking her possession.   Now, it appears Bharathi came out of her shell and demanding money from the actress, because even after three months the case is prolonging and she badly in need of actress money. This means she has lied about her husband’s income. So, it is understood that whatever Anjali told about her aunt and the Kollywood actor is true and she is justified of fleeing away from home.

Is Minister going to be disqualified

The state government shrugs off its two ministers Sabita Indra Reddy and Dharmana Prasada rao for being charge sheeted by CBI in Jagan’s disproportionate assets cases. They both are now also facing threat of arrest by CBI anytime. Another minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana also quits with same charges and spending behind bars since last one year. Two others in Kiran Kumar Reddy Sarkar are also facing similar charges but still manage to continue in power.   Secondary Education minister Pardha Saradhi, who is facing charges for violating FERA/FEMA rules and regulations, while importing machinery for his industry was also recently asked by the state high court to pay fine of Rs.1.5 lakhs for the same.   Many MLAs and MPs across the country, who indulged in criminal activities but are taking cover under People Representation Act to avert their arrest are found themselves off-guard with the Supreme Court’s latest ruling over it. The apex court says any representative of the people, who was convicted jail sentence by any court is not eligible to contest in the elections for 6 years.   As far minister Pardha Saradhi’s case, he was convicted with two months jail term and levied a fine of Rs.3 lakhs by ED court. But, he is averting his arrest by going for appeals in higher courts. The state high court has asked him to pay Rs.1.5 lakhs fine, which confirms that he is guilty. So, the legal experts opine that he is also attracting the Supreme Court’s ruling on the PR Act and may be forced to step down from his post sooner or later and even may be barred from contesting in the upcoming elections, if rejected by Supreme Court also.

T-issue boomerangs at Congress and TRS

There were times, when TDP was cornered on the Telangana issue. Then, both TRS and Congress used to blame the TDP and its president Chandrababu for turning hurdle in Telangana process. But now the situation is totally different. Now, the Congress and TRS parties are in fix with the same problem, while TDP is sitting cool and watching the show.   While the state Congress leaders are virtually divided into two groups and are crossing swords with each other on the issue, the high command is in dilemma whether to oblige CM Kiran Kumar Reddy’s argument for Samaikyandhra or go for separate state succumbing to pressures from its T-leaders. If, it opts for creating separate state, then it has to face the same kind of demands from Ghorka Land, Vidarbha etc. If, keeps the state united, then it has to be prepared to loose the 2014 elections battle.   TRS is also struck with its promise of merging with Congress party on a precondition of granting Telangana. Now, it can’t afford to merge with it nor it can’t deny it. If, it merges with Congress, then it not only looses its identity but also loose the chance of ruling the new state. If, it won’t merge with Congress now, then it has to carry on with the blame of obstructing Telangana state formation at its final stage.   Although, KCR has made it clear that he doesn’t want to merge his party in Congress, it is learnt both parties are busy bargaining on the merger issue.   While, both these parties locked-up with different issues, TDP is happily doing its business. TDP is just waiting for the outcome on the issue so as to take appropriate steps.
