TDP bounces back at YSRCP

  TDP leader Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy has given a fitting reply to his former colleague and present YSR Congress leader Umma Reddy Venkateswarulu over his stark remarks made against Chandrababu Naidu over his proposed Delhi visit.   Somireddy speaking to media has said “It is Umma Reddy, who once praised Chandrababu as a man of high morals and as the most efficient administrator. But, after joining in YSRCP, he suddenly finds everything wrong with Chandrababu. He is now worshipping Jagan Mohan Reddy like a god, who has been jailed and also made 69 officers, businessmen, industrialists and political leaders imprisoned for his corrupt practices.   Somireddy exhibited the book titled ‘Laksha Kotla Aaropanalu’ written by Mysoora Reddy, in which he explained how Jagan Mohan Reddy has robbed the state. Somireddy also criticized veteran actress and former TDP leader Roja, who now takes Jagan side as a mere opportunist leader. He said Vijayamma is surrounded with opportunist leaders. However, he said Vijayamma is also more interested in Jagan Mohan Reddy lakhs of crores of properties than him, otherwise she would have long ago secured bail to him said Somireddy.

Congress eager to speed-up T process

  Whether the people of Seemandhra agree or not, Congress high command is determined to go ahead with its bifurcation plans. This is confirmed during a recent visit of Seemandhra Congress leaders Sailajanath, Paladugu Venkat rao and Rudraraju Padma Raju to New Delhi. The home ministry officials have confirmed them that the T- Note is almost ready for submission to cabinet meeting to be held on September 19th.   Home ministry is awaiting legal experts’ advice over the procedural hurdles on special provisions provided in Article 371(d) to segregate recruitment of government posts on zonal basis. The ministry wants to know whether a constitutional amendment is necessary for removing this provision or not while dividing the state. Once it is clarified, home ministry will be ready to submit the T-Note to cabinet for its approval. However, Seemandhra leaders were told that home ministry is taking into consideration of the ongoing Samaikyandhra agitations.   Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul gandhi are said to be insisting for bifurcation of the state and stands firm on their decision. Hence, the party and the government have no other options but to fall in line with their two commanding Chiefs.   Hence, the Seemandhra leaders have realized that bifurcation of the state is inevitable come Seemandhra shuts down completely. At the same time they also understood that they are going to pay dearly in the forthcoming elections for their party decision. Yet, they are clueless on how to react to this situation.

Is Kiran arguments are also part of Congress game plan?

  It is evident that if Congress party goes to elections in the state in the prevailing situation, it would be definitely wiped off from the state, because of its all-round failures, especially for its failure in bifurcation. Both Telangana and Seemandhra people are not ready to believe it now. However, still it has a fair chance to win in Telangana if it could create Telangana state before next general elections. But, it is definitely going to lose in Seemandhra for its decision.   Congress party, which is dreaming to retain power at Center, cannot afford to lose the 25 MPs of Seemandhra region. So, how it can overcome this problem, while granting Telangana?   Probably, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is revolting against Congress high command as a part of its strategy and he already won the hearts of Seemandhra people for his bold show. Then there is a simultaneous report about launching of a new political party that is to be led by CM Kiran Kumar Reddy. According to reports, the newly launched party will spearhead with the Samaikyandhra agitations and challenge the Center.   While, this will elbows out TDP and YSRCP in the region, at the same it will ensure the Congress party to bag the required number of seats in Seemandhra region. Once, this new political party serves its purpose it will dissolves by merging with Congress party soon after the next general elections. Probably, that is why Sharmila these days is concentrating her attacks on CM Kiran Kumar Reddy. If, Congress adopts this game plan, then obviously TDP and YSRCP are going to reveal its intentions behind launching the new political party.   There is other option also for the Congress party. It can strike a deal with YSR Congress party and implement the same action plan. But, comparitively, the first option is much better than the second one. the last option would be encouraging new players to launch new political parties to split the votes.

Jagan Mohan Reddy filed bail petition

  YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has filed his bail petition through his lawyers in CBI court on Wednesday. The Supreme Court’s deadline to CBI for completing investigation in Jagan Mohan Reddy disproportionate assets cases ends on September 8th. Earlier the apex court has suggested him that he can apply for his bail any time after the given deadline. CBI court has adjourned his petition to Thursday.   TDP has been repeatedly stating that YSR Congress party honorary president YS Vijayamma has come to an understanding with Congress high command during her recent trip to New Delhi over securing his bail in lieu with merging the party with Congress. TDP leader Enamala Ramakrishnudu alleges that dropping of the names of two ministers Sabita Indra Reddy and Ponnala from CBI’s latest charge sheets filed against Jagan Mohan Reddy’s disproportionate assets cases, itself is hinting that both the parties had a secret deal. Hence, he predicts that Jagan will be released soon.

RTC ready to withdraw from strike

  Transport Minister Botsa Satyanarayana held a meeting with RTC Employees union leaders today. He appealed them to withdraw from their indefinite strike keeping in view of the problems being faced by the people. They also positively responded to his appeal. They said they would like to oblige his request, only if the government makes the RTC as one of its department. They said if the government agrees to this proposal, they will take a decision in the ANGOs meeting to be held on September 16th.   If, the government could crack the month long AP NGOs indefinite strike by striking chord with RTC, then it believes rest of the employees will also fall in line with it. However, the RTC employees proposal would be too heavy to consider as it immediately needed Rs. 5000 crore to pull it out from its losses. Unless, the Central government helps, state government can’t afford to spend that much at the prevailing crisis situation.

AP leaders anxious with Sonia Gandhi arrival

  AICC President Sonia Gandhi, who went to US for a medical check-up in the last week, will be reaching New Delhi on Wednesday. She has undergone cancer surgery in US during 2011 August. She has developed some health problems during the voting of Food Security bill in the Parliament and rushed to AIMS in Delhi. After discharging from hospital, she left for US, accompanied by her daughter Priyanka for health check-ups. According to reports, she is quite ok now.   Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has said that the Telangana Note will be submitted to cabinet once she approves it. Hence, T-Congress and TRS leaders, who are very much disturbed with the grand success of AP NGOs ‘Save Andhra Pradesh’ meeting held at Hyderabad recently, are desperately waiting for her return hoping she will speed up the bifurcation process.   Samaikyandhra activists are also anxiously waiting for her return to know whether she is going to revoke her party decision on bifurcation or not after seeing their intensified agitations and the grand success of ‘Save Andhra Pradesh’ meeting.

First phase of Atma Gourava Yatra completing

  Chandrababu Naidu is going to successfully wind-up the first phase of his 11 day long ‘Atma Gourava yatra tomorrow at Tiruvur village in Krishna district. He will return to Hyderabad tomorrow night and will take rest for four or five days. Then he will again begin the 2nd phase of his tour from Eluru in West Godavari district.   Though, he was discouraged by one and all in the party and even by AP NGOs, he boldly started his bus yatra on September 1st and got an overwhelming response from the public, as against fears of being attacked by Samaikyandhra activists.   During his current tour, he appears to be gradually drifting away from his pro-telangana stand and taking Samaikyandhra path. His interaction with T-leaders of the party during his four days stay at Hyderabad may give some better picture about his future plans.

T-Congress also woke-up with AP NGOs meeting

  T-Congress ministers have failed to steal the show after their high command has announced its decision in favor of Telangana state formation. None of them have tried to take the advantage of achieving Telangana, instead simply handed over entire credit to KCR with their ignorance or negligence. KCR has been given a heroic welcome soon after the announcement, while the T-Congress leaders simply drifted into shades. They simply sat cool relying upon Sonia Gandhi, while their counterparts in Seemandhra are still lobbying against bifurcation.   Finally, they seemed to woke-up with ‘Save Andhra Pradesh’ meeting held by AP NGOs. T-Ministers K.Jana Reddy, Sunitha Lakshma Reddy, DK Aruna, T-MPs Madhu Yashki, Anjana Kumar Yadav, Gutta Sukhender Reddy and some other T-leaders Bhikshamayya Goud, Amos, Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy, P.Sudhakar Reddy have met at party legislature office on Tuesday.   They have discussed the prevailing political situation in the state, bifurcation process, the AP NGOs meeting and its effects. They have decided to conduct a public meeting well ahead of the September 22nd on which T-JAC is planning to conduct its public meeting named as “Telangana Swabhiman Sabha,’ so that to assure the people that Congress will not back track on its promise.”   They, who until avoiding a direct contact with CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, for his stand against Telangana and his support for Samaikyandhra, now decided to ask him to control their counterparts in Seemandhra region, explaining the party stand.

Congress tries to woo Mayawati

  Around 30 people died in the communal clashes taking place during last four days in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh. Despite imposing curfew in sensitive areas and heavy police and paramilitary deployment, the clashes couldn’t be controlled Akhilesh Yadav government, reports governor Joshi to UPA government.   His rivals Congress, BSP and BJP swung into action and start the blame-game. Former CM of the state Mayawati, who is desperate to return to power, is demanding for Akhilesh’s resignation. Congress, which needs her support to stay afloat at Center is all praise to her regime and criticizes Akhilesh Yadav for failing to maintain peace in the state.   Congress leader Rasheed Alwi has blamed BJP also. He said ever since BJP decides to promote Narendra Modi as its prime ministerial candidate, Modi has appointed his close aide Amit Shah as BJP-UP state in-charge, who is conspiring this kind of developments in the state to gain control over the state. He alleges that Modi want to create a similar situation of Godra riots that take place in Gujarat, after which he gained stronghold on the state.   BJP argues that state Congress leaders are encouraging the communal clashes to defame the BJP and to destabilize Akhilesh government.   Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav is blaming his rival political parties for politicizing the communal riots, instead of extending their full support to the government in controlling the riot situation. He is fuming on Governor’s report given against his government.

Shinde disappoints both groups

  Even while the AP NGOs meeting was going at LB Stadium opposing bifurcation of the state, Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has announced that ‘Note on Telangana’ will be ready very soon and there are three proposals before the government over Hyderabad status. This leaves both Seemandhra and Telangana leaders very much annoyed.   While, the T-leaders are upset about his ‘3 proposals’ on Hyderabad status, Seemandhra leaders are upset with his ‘T-Note.’ With this Shinde made it clear that bifurcation is inevitable and at the same time T-leaders can’t expect whole rights on Hyderabad.   Although, Seemandhra people are opposing bifurcation of the state, TDP and YSRCP are demanding for justice to the region and their due share on Hyderabad. On the other side T-leaders are making counter arguments over sharing of Hyderabad revenue and jobs etc.   Leaders of both regions are well aware that when the constitutional process begins, all the issues related to bifurcation will be properly addressed in accordance to constitution. Yet, both the groups are trying to creating hype with their arguments so that they get enough political mileage in this whole affair.

PM offers to work under Rahul leadership

  Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has once again offered to vacate his seat for Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi. While, his return from G-20 meetings held at Russia, replying to a media question about continuing as PM for the 3rd time after the next general elections he said, “I will humbly accept whatever the responsibility offered to me. Rahul Gandhi is a very suitable person to hold the PM post. I will be very happy to work under his leadership.”   Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh time and again has been assuring that he is always ready to vacate his chair for Rahul Gandhi, while Rahul is seen shying away from it. Perhaps, Dr. Manmohan Singh’s reiterating his statement itself might be saving his chair, otherwise he would have been pulled out of it long ago. However, neither he nor the Congress leaders have ever thought it is disgraceful to talk about replacement of a Prime Minister merely to roll red carpet to Rahul Gandhi.

Hyderabad gripped with high tension

  The AP NGOs meeting to be held at LB Stadium and the T-JAC bandh call given for Hyderabad on Saturday put the people of the city on toes. Although, there is heavy deployment of police forces in and around the city, both groups are preparing for a face off today. Several busses carrying NGOs from all the 13 districts of Seemandhra zone have left for Hyderabad yesterday and some of them were attacked by the T-activists when entered Telangana zones. However, it is reported that they are safely reaching the city. The meeting will start from 2pm and has to conclude at 5pm sharp, as per the court orders. The AP NGOs president Ashok babu is personally supervising the arrangements at venue since yesterday. He is very confident of making their meeting a grand success. He expects around one lakh people participate in this meeting, whereas the police and the High Court allows a matching number of employees for the stadium capacity, that is around 15, 000. He said rest of the employees, people will have to stay outside the stadium. LCDs have been arranged outside the stadium to enable them watch the meeting. Police in large number have deployed in and around the stadium to avert any faceoff between the NGOs and Telangana activists. Hence a war-like situation prevailed over the city.

Is Kavuri still wants to bluff the people?

  Eluru Congress MP Kavuri Sambhasiva rao, who initially used to argue in favor of Samaikyandhra, changes his stand after being inducted as Union Minister into Manmohan Singh Cabinet. Then, he said ‘Being holding a responsible post, I can’t talk like a village Sarpanch on this issue. I would like to obey the party decision, whatever it may be."   However, he once again took a ‘U’ turn after seeing the intensified agitations and is now speaking in favor of Samaikyandhra to safeguard his political interests in the region. Yet, he says he has never changed his stand and he always remained a strong supporter of Samaikyandhra.   Speaking to media, he said “Center is having second thoughts on bifurcation, after seeing the intensified agitations in Seemandhra region. I believe that the Telangana note may not be forwarded to Union Cabinet within 20 days as said by home minister Shinde. Any decision may be taken on it only after Sonia Gandhi returns to India. There is no question of Seemandhra people leave their rights on Hyderabad.”   He still wants to bluff the people of the region by making statements like this, while they are watching the Congress spearheading with the bifurcation process and understood that division of the state is inevitable now.

Clashes between Andhra-Telangana spreads to High Court

  Clashes between Andhra and Telangana employees have become a regular scene in Hyderabad city. Gradually, they are spreading to all sectors and today it was repeated at High Court between Andhra and Telangana lawyers. When, T-lawyers have obstructed the Andhra lawyers from forming a human chain at High Court, clashes take place between both groups. However, the timely intervention by police has averted a big clash. Police arrested lawyers of both sides. Ever since the Center declares Telangana state formation, gradually the clashes between Andhra and Telangana people gain momentum in the capital city. However, neither state nor the central government have taken initiative in setting them back on the track. The state government has turned a silent spectator because CM Kiran Kumar Reddy is staying away from his office as he is opposing bifurcation. While Seemandhra MLAs and Ministers are sweating for Samaikyandhra, their counterparts in Telangana are busy in giving countering them. For the first time, the state is witnessing absence of the government, despite having a full brigade of ministers, who are still enjoying an exciting pay packs paid out of people’s hard earned money.

SC orders investigation on Dinesh Reddy assets

  The cold war between DGP Dinesh Reddy and IPS officer Umesh Kumar has reached its peak with Supreme Court ordering CBI inquiry on DGP Dinesh Reddy’s assets. DG Umesh Kumar, who is fuming on Dinesh Reddy for filing a forgery case against him, has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against Dinesh Reddy, appealing for CBI inquiry into his disproportionate assets. Responding to his petition, the apex court has ordered CBI to initiate inquiry on DGP’s assets. Earlier, former minister Shankar rao also levied same allegation against DGP Dinesh Kumar, for being arrested in Green Fields lands scam. But, he fails to show any solid evidences for his allegations during police interrogation conducted few months ago. Hence, he may welcome the SC order as he failed to fight out with him. Today, the Supreme Court also has rejected Umesh Kumar’s appeal to grant stay on the ongoing forgery case. It suggested him to approach the trial court, where his case is taken-up.

Blame game continues between Babu and Sharmila

  Chandrababu and Sharmila kick start bus yatras with different purposes, but with common goal. While, Sharmila starts her ‘Samaikya Shankaravam’ to educate the people about the necessity of keeping the state unite and to explain them about the ill effects of bifurcation, Chandrababu begins ‘Atma Gourva Yatra’ to defend his party from Congress, YSR Congress parties’ propaganda of giving consent for dividing the state and to clear the air about the doubts of the people on the same.   Their ultimate goal is to gain control over Seemandhra region by cashing-in the Samaikyandhra agitations taken-up by the people. Hence, they both conveniently ignored their basic purpose of their yatras and indulged in blame game to gain upper hand over the other.   Chandrababu being former CM of the state, is expected to give some constructive suggestions to the government on how to resolve the bifurcation problem. But, he dedicates his Atma Gourava Yatra for attacking Congress and YSR Congress parties.   On the other end, Sharmila also uses the same brush to paint Congress and Chandrababu as sinners in this affair. She says would her father Rajashekar Reddy is alive now, the state wouldn’t pass through this crisis situation at all. She blames Chandrababu for giving consent letter for dividing the state. They are likely to indulge in this blame game until Congress gives a new twist to the whole affair, the way it gives with bifurcation decision.

One more acid test for TDP ahead

  CM Kiran Kumar Reddy after registering his protests against bifurcation with Antony Committee and party state political in-charge Digvijay Singh has returned from Delhi yesterday. Therefore, he throws the ball into high command court and awaiting its decision. But, it is learnt that Congress high command do not wants to revoke its decision and planning to push the Telangana bill to State Assembly very soon. In such case, CM and his Seemandhra Congress leaders will definitely try to defeat the bill in the house. They are also planning to seek support of TDP and YSRCP in this regard.   If, the bill is introduced in the house and Seemandhra MLAs of Congress and YSR Congress parties oppose the T-bill, then TDP has to come clear about its stand on the bill. If it votes against the bill, then it has to forget about running the party in Telangana. If supports the bill, then it will ruin its chances in Seemandhra. TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu is gradually appears to be tilting towards Samaikyandhra. If it is true, then TDP also may vote against Telangana in the house.

Lagadapati opposes UT status for Hyderabad

  The vociferous Samaikyandhra Congress leader Lagadapati Rajagopal has surprised everybody by opposing UT status to Hyderabad. Speaking to media he said “After all, who benefits by making Hyderabad as Union Territory. Neither Telangana nor Seemandhra people will benefit with it. It will not help in resolving the problems, instead further complicates the problems. We are being blamed for not allowing the Telangana people to have Hyderabad. Our fight is for keeping the state united and not Hyderabad alone. So, I doesn’t support demands for making Hyderabad as Union Territory.”

Terrorist Batkal’s Karachi declaration

  The IE terrorist Yasin Batkal, who was recently nabbed by the NIA, has confessed that he is behind attacks in several places in India. He also confessed he acts upon the directions given by Pakistan intelligence department ISI. He has further revealed shocking information about their further plans for attacks in the country.   He said there 30 terrorists ready with explosive material that is sufficient to make blasts in 100 places. He said entire plan has been chalked out by Karachi and they are executing itas per its dierctives. Yasin Batkal is wanted by police across the country as well as by Nepal police for his terrorist activities. He made explosions in Delhi, Ahmadabad, Surat, Pune, Nagpur, Kolkata and at Bangalore cities leaving hundreds of innocent people dead or permanently disabled. He is the one behind the twin bomb blasts that takes place in Dilshik Nagar few months ago. He shows no hesitation in accepting his sins.
