Highlighting Modi’s BC factor is TDP game plan?

  It seems Chandrababu Naidu has wisely trapped TRS president KCR with his BC cards. He is also forcing him to speak against the most popular Prime Minister Candidate Narendra Modi. Chandrababu seems to be implementing his idea through Pawan Kalyan, who these days is provoking the arrogant KCR to speak against Modi.   It is to be noted that Pawan Kalyan, who initially declared that he dislike to be bound by cast, religion and regional boundaries, is now purposely highlighting BC factor of Narendra Modi. It is evident that Chandrababu plans to gain political mileage using BC cards and so is he declares a new comer R.Krishnaiah as TDP Telangana CM candidate. So, it is to be understood that Chandrababu is behind Pawan Kalyan in playing BC cards.   We have seen Pawan warning KCR not to insult the first BC Prime Minister to be and also warned him that he and the BC community will not tolerate him anymore, if he uses abusive language against Modi. However, the more he objects KCR, the more he is provoked and abusing Narendra Modi like anything. Naturally, the BC Community, which is a major part of Telangana population may be irritated to see KCR abusing their representative-Modi and may vote against TRS in the elections.   Apart from BC community, those who love to see Narendra Modi sit in the Prime Minister Chair, but prefers KCR as first CM of Telangana may also turn against him and his TRS party. This may the basic idea behind Pawan Kalyan highlighting Modi’s BC factor, otherwise he wouldn’t talked about cast or religion factors in his speech. But, will this plan workout and bring fortunes to TDP-BJP alliance in the elections?

Sharmila alleges Balayya is a mental patient

  Sharmila seems crosses the limits by describing Nandamuri Balakrishna as mentally ill. In her address to the people at Ananthapur district, she said “People may remember the firing incident that takes place in his home few years ago, where one of his close aide was badly injured. Then, Balakrishna has produced a doctor certificate to the court declaring that he is mentally not well during that time and escaped punishment. Such mentally unfit person believes that he is now fit for contesting elections. I am sure if he is elected, he will make the people crazy. He knew nothing about politics, except twirling moustache and slapping thighs. He may be good in acting but not proved himself as a good son and good politician until now. The man, who can’t understand the problems of the poor people, how can serve them? Asks Sharmila.

Pawan strikes again

  It seems Pawan Kalyan is more or less dedicates his guns to KCR. Sharply criticizing KCR he states “He takes his family along with him to get photographed with Sonia Gandhi, as if to spread a message that his family members alone have fought for Telangana, while leaving all those fought with him in the agitations. He described her Sonia Gandhi as goddess while he was inside her residence, and the same person describes her ‘Balidevatha’ after returning Hyderabad. How can he expect their support when he is abusing them and quarrelling with them? He is making promises that are beyond his capacity in a desperate bid to win the elections. People should note that unless there is good coordination between state and central governments, they can’t expect rapid development in the state. I appeal the people of Telangana vote for TDP-BJP alliance candidates only so as we will have a stable governments at state and central level.”

Baba Ramdev’s Rahul honeymoon leads to FIR

      The election commission was quick to react after BJP supporter and Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev commented on Congress Vice-president Rahul Gandhi in a press event yesterday. "Had he (Rahul) married a Dalit girl, who knows, he might have become the PM. Sonia says first become the PM and then bring a foreigner as bride. He goes to Dalit houses to have picnics and honeymoon."   An FIR has been lodged against him for the derogatory remarks he made but Baba Ramdev was quick to reply that it was used figuratively and not the actual word. The Modi -Rahul-Sonia-AAP war has led to wide scale criticism and derogatory remarks being traded by each leader and their supporters against one another and this could lead to many FIRs being filed before the elections end.

TDP Comedy Campaigners

      Political Parties are putting in a lot of effort, time and manpower and leaving no stone unearthed when it comes to their poll campaigns. This time around we have seen a lot of small time and character actors entering the fray as contestants like Hema & GV Naidu along with Babu Mohan & Murali Mohan .We also have the film fraternity showing their allegiance to their respective parties in the form of campaigning. YSRCP party managed to locate actress Poornima who acted in several comedies like Srivaariki Premalekha etc. and had literally disappeared from the scene. She joined the YSRCP party but is yet to be seen in the campaign.   The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) which has always had the support of the Telugu film industry, this time around  has roped in Tollywood comedians to canvas for its candidates. Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Chitti Babu and  child actress turned character artist Pinki  were the TDP star campaigners and went around localities in Vijayawada (East) constituency where people cheered them. Their popularity was so much that nobody actually missed the main contestant G Rammohan.

PM’s brother Daljeet joins BJP

  Congress has a big shock from its own Prime Minister’s family member. Daljeet Singh Kohli, step brother of Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh has joined BJP in the presence of Narendra Modi on Friday at Amritsar. He also left the Congress embarrassed with his remarks after his inclusion into BJP.   Daljeet said “Although, I appreciate my brother’s hard work and his remarkable job, I understand that he is unable to run the government efficiently and left many tasks in half-finished stage, because he was not given a free hand to run the government by the party high command. So, I thought that Narendra Modi is the right person, who can take the country ahead in every sector and so I have joined BJP."   His joining into BJP and his remarks on Prime Minister certainly is a shocker to Congress high command, which until now is refuting Modi’s charges of remote controlled prime minister. Narendra Modi and his party managers may highlight these remarks made by Daljeet Singh Kohli.

BJP Eggs hurled at Chiranjeevi

      Eggs were hurled at AP Congress Election Campaign Committee Chief K Chiranjeevi by as section of BJP supporters during a public meeting in Machilipatnam after his remarks against Narendra Modi calling him a "Hitler" and "tyrant. Chiranjeevi, who was addressing a rally at Koneru Centre, stopped his speech for some time after the incident and resumed his speech once the police managed to bring the situation under control. He apparently said that , "Modi is a tyrant. He is a Hitler. He had been deliberately sidelining a number of senior BJP leaders, including former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and party veteran L K Advani."   This is probably the first time that a negative incident has a happened to him and he should be guarded when it comes to his words. The recent trend of the main party leaders abusing and jibing each other with words across India could leave the voters thinking twice about voting for any of the prospective leaders. Hurling abuses and trading bad remarks about each other and not talking about what they intend to do for the party itself is negative publicity and even if you were star or star campaigner could result in these actions.

State Assembly to be dissolved soon

  The union cabinet meeting held today has approved Governor Narasimhan’s recommendation for dissolving the state assembly and extending President Rule on the state. Hence, it is just a matter of time and mere formality of approving the same by President Pranab Mukharji. Most probably an official announcement may come in a day or two from President’s office.   However, since the state is officially dividing into two states as Andhra and Telangana states, those political parties win the upcoming elections will form new governments in the new states, any time after the appointed day that is June 2nd. Elections will be held in Telangana both for Assembly and parliament in one phase on April 30th and in Andhra region elections will be held on May 7th. Counting of votes and result will be declared on May 16th all over country. The two week gap between results and appointed day may be sufficient for the political parties to form the governments in both states.

KVP files petition in HC for stay

  Rajya Sabha member KVP Ramachandra rao has filed a petition in state high court seeking a stay order on his arrest with Interpol’s Red Corner notice issued against him in connection with Titanium scam. Earlier, when the news broke about the US court in Chicago allowing the investigating agency FBI file case against KVP and five others, then KVP stated that he is innocent and did no wrong. He demands them to reveal their reports about the scam. However, when the US agency served red corner notice through Interpol, he now files petition in High Court seeking a stay on his arrest.

Rahul’s bid to claim T-Credit

  As predicted, Rahul Gandhi is once again repeating each and every word of his previous speech made in Telangana few days ago. In a bid to grab the T-Credit for his party, he said “KCR has formed TRS party in 2001, but our T-leaders have given representation to Sonia Gandhi in year 2000 asking for separate state. There is no role of TRS at all in preparing draft bill or passing it in the parliament. If, Congress is not there Telangana would not turned reality now. Congress has fulfilled the 60 years ambition of Telangana people. ”   So, he is categorically admitting that it takes 60 years for his party to take this decision. He also admits that because of KCR’s assurance to merge his party with Congress, it creates Telangana state, however, he backstabbed after Congress fulfilled its promise. His mention about T-Congress leaders demand for Telangana state 14 years ago, in an attempt to grab the credit for Congress, underlines that Congress party sat cool for 14 years on this burning issue, even after watching hundreds of youth are sacrificing for the cause.   So, Rahul’s claims for T-Credit underlines his government and party’s ignorance and negligence towards a very serious issue. Yet, he doesn’t feel any guilty in claiming for the T-Credit and asking the people to vote for his party. He should answer the opposition parties and Telangana people’s question, why it takes so long to take this decision and why it deserve to be elected again?  

Rahul reveals why state is divided: Kiran

  Former CM Kiran Kumar Reddy has found a very nice point to strengthen his Samaikyandhra arguments. Quoting few lines from Rahul Gandhi’s recent speech, Kiran said “Rahul Gandhi has stated that KCR has promised to merge his TRS party with Congress, but back stabbed him after granting it. This statement itself is a testimony for their alleged conspiracy behind bifurcation of the state. I have been telling from the day one that Congress is dividing the state merely to gain few MP seats in Telangana and it is proved with Rahul Gandhi’s public statement. He admits that state has been divided only after KCR assures to merge his party with Congress so as there would be no opposition in Telangana and Congress can win all the 17 MP seats, otherwise it would not take that much risk and ruin its party in Seemandhra.”   Of course Kiran has correctly said, but he also helped his high command till last minute in dividing the state and left the Congress only after confirming that Parliament has approved the bifurcation bill. So, it is prejudice to blame someone else, while he himself is guilty in this whole affair.

Is Marri Shashishar Reddy in for a Hat trick?

      Sanathnagar Assembly constituency, sitting MLA Mr. Marri Shashidhar Reddy of Congress might hit a hat-trick and probablyhave record 5th time victory if he wins this 2014 elections. Pitted against Telugu Desam Party’s Talasani Srinivas Yadav and a horde of other party candidates including D. Vittal of TRS, Ambika Krishna of Aam Admi Party and Hymavathi Sagi of Lok Satta Party as the major contenders.   Son of the former Chief Minister of AP Marri Chenna Reddy,  and whose Constituency also was Sanath Nager (1989) his victory in the past years in 1992. 1995, 2004, 2009, and with only one defeat in 1999 when the TDP wave hit the state, victory seems not to far away for this man who is also the  Vice-Chairman, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) .Bad roads, open drains , power cuts, pot holes and other civic amenities which are  the staple problems plaguing the City of Hyderabad in general. Hoping that this gentleman can do something to prevent these basic disasters and focus on core local issues.

Show-cause notices to Palwai

  T-Congress disciplinary committee is going to issue show-cause notices to senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member Pawai Govardhan Reddy and MLC Rajeswara rao for their anti-party activities and violating party discipline. Disciplinary committee has already suspends Palwai’s daughter Sravanthi from party for not withdrawing her nominations from Munugodu as rebel candidate.   So, Palwai irked with the actions has stated that it is Ponnala Lakshmaih and others to be suspended from the party first, as they failed to campaign for the party candidates. As a result, leaders from Delhi are forced to shoulder that responsibility and campaigning now. He said that he also reported this matter to Sonia Gandhi and asked her to take action on the T-PCC President and few others.

Elections in Allagadda on Schedule: EC

  Elections in Allagadda constituency will be held as per schedule, declares Election Commission today. According to EC officials, elections will be postponed only in case of a candidate of a recognized political party dies, otherwise elections will be held as per schedule after removing the particular candidate name from EVMs. YSR Congress party is a registered party, but still has no recognition by EC. So, elections will not be postponed with the sudden death of Sobha Nagi Reddy, who was contesting from Allagadda constituency on YCP ticket.

Will Chandrababu’s idea alter the fortunes?

  The precise timing of Chandrababu Naidu’s announcement of R Krishnaiah as TDP Telangana Chief Minister Candidate indeed is intended to corner his rival Congress and TRS parties. None of these two are able to announce their candidates until now. KCR, who takes a turn on his promise of making a person from SC community as first CM can’t find any reply to Chandrababu’s challenge on this issue. So, he is retarding on some other point-the unethical alliance between Modi, Babu and Pawan Kalyan.   It is evident that Congress party also can’t afford to announce any name right now because there are several contenders for this top post in Telangana. So, Chandrababu will have an edge over both his rivals and at the same also can attract the largest BC community in Telangana with this proposal. Krishnaiah also has huge support from his community people across Telangana region. So, Chandrababu’s idea may give good returns in the elections.   Therefore, he wisely coupled Krishnaiah with his latest addition- Pawan Kalyan and fixed a campaigning schedule for them beginning from tomorrow. They together will tour across Telangana districts and will hold meetings and road shows. Nevertheless, Pawan’s popularity and Krishnaiah’s wide spread network may draw enough crowds that may put KCR on toes again.

KCR declares war on Modi

  Although, Narendra Modi goes very soft on TRS President KCR, the overwhelming response to his 4 meetings held in Telangana, alerts KCR. So, he declared a war against Narendra Modi, branding him also as enemy of Telangana people.   KCR, who attends a public meeting held at Bhodhan in Nizamabad district today addressing the huge crowds “Narendra Modi is the first enemy of Telangana people. He has opposed Telangana state formation till last minute. I condemn his statement that Bharatmata shred tears for dividing the state. In fact Bharatmata will be happy to see her sons and daughters of Telangana soil have freed from the clutches of Andhra politicians.”   “Narendra Modi and Chandrababu have joined hands because they both are anti-Telangana leaders. Now one more actor Pawan Kalyan also has joined them to trick the people of Telangana. I am very much sure that they will not get even a single seat in Telangana. Chandrababu is the culprit, who sold out Nizam Sugar factory for just Rs.300 crore. Once, we come into power, I promise that I will send him to jail for this offence,” said KCR.   People should think and decide in which hands they should put their Telangana and in which hands it would be safe. I promise you that I will take care of the new state, the way I run the agitations very honestly all these years,” said KCR.   His speech clearly reveals that he is scared of Modi and Pawan Kalyan influence on Telangana people. Though, people of Telangana have opposed Chiranjeevi, the way they positively responded to Pawan Kalyan’s speech, puts KCR on toes. If, Pawan Kalyan also starts campaigning in Telangana, he may likely change the equations with his patriotic speeches. So, KCR immediately draw swords on Pawan and Narendra Modi in his meeting.

Supreme Court clarification on Illegitimate Children

      A bench of Justices B S Chauhan and J Chelameswar in the Supreme Court issued a clarification on a petition filed by advocate Uday Gupta, who had questioned certain sweeping observations made by the Madras high court while dealing with the issue of live-in relationships. Importantly, the SC said children born out of prolonged live-in relationships could not be termed illegitimate. The SC said that if a man and woman "lived like husband and wife" for a long period and had children, the judiciary would presume that the two were married.   Justices Chauhan and Chelameswar further clarified that, if a man and woman are living together for a long time as husband and wife, though never married, there would a presumption of marriage and their children could not be called illegitimate." With the former Governor of AP and senior Congress leader ND Tiwari who finally  had to own Rohith Shekhar Sharma as his legitimate son, with the Delhi HC also declaring it after the DNA testing proving it , this ruling would come as much needed respite for Rohith and his mother Ujjwala ,where they had a 6 year long battle for the truth to come out about his legitimacy as a ND Tiwari’s son.  

Brisk voting in 6th phase polling in India

        Braving rising temperatures, voters on Thursday turned up in good numbers in many of the 117 constituencies in 11 states and Union Territory of Puducherry in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha polls. The 2014 Lok Sabha polls will be more than half over after elections to 347 seats are complete after the sixth phase of voting, with the 84, 91 and 41 seats left in the remaining phases.   Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan , West Bengal,Puducherry, Tamil Nadu,Assam, Bihar, Jharkahand, UP, MP,J&K, are all in the election fray and with this half of the elections can be considered over as these are the major states polling today. A tough battle for the Congress, BJP, SP, BSP, AIADMK, DMK, MDMK , PMK, Janata Dal (U)and Trinamool party as this is decisive day for all these regional parties along with the Congress and BJP who will decide the future of our nation.
