Political Parties are putting in a lot of effort, time and manpower and leaving no stone unearthed when it comes to their poll campaigns. This time around we have seen a lot of small time and character actors entering the fray as contestants like Hema & GV Naidu along with Babu Mohan & Murali Mohan .We also have the film fraternity showing their allegiance to their respective parties in the form of campaigning. YSRCP party managed to locate actress Poornima who acted in several comedies like Srivaariki Premalekha etc. and had literally disappeared from the scene. She joined the YSRCP party but is yet to be seen in the campaign.

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) which has always had the support of the Telugu film industry, this time around  has roped in Tollywood comedians to canvas for its candidates. Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Chitti Babu and  child actress turned character artist Pinki  were the TDP star campaigners and went around localities in Vijayawada (East) constituency where people cheered them. Their popularity was so much that nobody actually missed the main contestant G Rammohan.
