Pawan Kalyan Speech at Nizamabad
Pawan Kalyan has arrived at Nizamabad a short while ago to participate in Narendra Modi’s public meeting. He begins his speech before Modi could reach the venue from Maharashtra. There was overwhelming response to his speech. Here are some interesting points of his speech.
“I didn’t come here to play my role in politics but came here believing it’s my duty as an Indian. I love Telangana and every one of you knew that. So, I don’t want to boast this point. I have visited every nook and corner of Telangana region during last elections, while campaigning for PRP. So, I am well aware of the problems of people here. Though, I have plenty of opportunity to become MLA or MP during last elections, I preferred to stay away from contest, because I hate, whole family members grab all the MP, MLA seats to themselves. However, this time also I stayed away from elections only to avert split in the votes and thus to avert a crisis situation.”
“We are seeing every party and leader is claiming credit of Telangana, but I believe the entire credit goes to those hundreds of students, who sacrificed their lives for the state. Especially, Congress party is to be blamed for the deaths of innocent youth. It simply sat cool for last ten years, even after seeing hundreds of youth are committing suicides. Now, they are coming to you seeking votes for granting Telangana. So, next time if any leader comes to you claiming credit, ask them what stopped them from giving separate state ten years ago and how they deserve your votes.”
We have three candidates-Madhu Yashky Goud (Congress), Kavita (TRS) and Lakshmi Narayana (BJP) from Nizamabad to choose from. I don’t know whether you will vote for any candidate that I recommend you. But, I appeal you all identify and choose the right candidate before electing one from them. There was agricultural, water, un employment and many issues remain unaddressed all these years of Congress ruling. What all these Congress leaders during last ten years of ruling were engage themselves in realtor business and multiply their properties. So, I don’t ask you to vote for any Congress leaders, those who fail to serve the people.
I don’t suggest voting for such parties that encourages their sons, daughters, nephews and their relatives to grab power. I appeal for BJP, because it is very necessary to put the state and the country in right and safe hands. I strongly believe that Modi is the right person, who has ability to put our state and country back on to its track. So, I appeal you all to vote for BJP and Modi.”
