Ponnam grabs chance to raise finger against CM

  Telangana Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar is first to raise voice against Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy in the ruling Congress government. He said the recent bomb blasts at Hyderabad have brought bad name to the government and to the Congress party. He said if, the government would have alerted the police force in-time, the mishap would have been averted. Kiran Kumar Reddy has been using his forces and intelligence department to keep track of his ministers, MLAs and Telangana leaders. Instead of trailing them, he would have used the forces for providing safety to the people.   Next comes senior Congress leader V.Hanumantha rao’s turn. He said the government would have acted swiftly with the alert message sent by the Center. He opined the incident would have been definitely averted if the government cares for the alert message.   Perhaps many other decedents like DL Ravindra Reddy, Kavuri, Rayapati Samba Shiva rao may soon open their mouths to attack CM Kiran Kumar Reddy. If, anyone from within raise this demand, definitely it will gain momentum in no time. Opposition has already started demanding him to step down from CM chair vowing responsibility for the terror attack.

Govternment wakes up after disaster

Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy’s proposal to install 3500 CC Cameras in Hyderabad twin cities with a cost of Rs.450 crore has been approved by Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy today. She said the cameras will be installed with in six months time at all the sensitive areas in the twin cities. She also declares that soon a GO will be issued making CC cameras compulsory in shopping malls and multiplex theaters. She reiterates that the government or the police were not failed in preventing the terror attack at Hyderabad. The injured in the incident are being given the best treatment with government expenses, said Sabita. The government, which would have woke up with the very first terror attack in the city, seems now wakes up thinking about preventive measures. But, will it lasts long or forgets in course of time again.   But,about the safety of rest of the state. Is Hyderabad alone needs the survivalence and rest of the state is spared for terrorists attacks? Will the government wake up, only when some terror attack takes place at other than Hyderabad? When will we learn lessons from the incidents? Is a life time necessary to to understand the situation?

US Consulate, Hyd. closed on Friday

  The US Consulate which was opened in the last year at Hyderabad was closed on Friday in wake of recent bomb blasts in the city. However, no official announcement has been made by the concerned officials about how many days the office is going to be closed. Hence, the US Visa process was halted on yesterday and several people, who comes from from far away place were wondering whether to wait in the city or to return home. Recently, US government has warned its citizens that unless its necessary not to go to the Hyderabad city. However, the warning comes in wake of Telangana agitations and the violence erupting due to frequent bandhs. US government has also offered its services in investigating the recent bomb blasts, but Indian government has not responded positively.

More explosions in tube?

  Although, so far no one has come forward claiming responsibility for the Hyderabad bomb blasts case until now, the helpline center arranged in Ranga Reddy district police control room have received two threat calls from an unidentified persons around 11pm yesterday from different mobile numbers, who state many more bombs planted in the city will be blasted soon. Hence, the police are trying to trace out the callers with the help of concerned telephone network operators.However, they opine that it might be a part of terrorists’ strategy to divert the investigation teams’ attention from their job.

Center alerted us in advance: Minister DK Aruna

  Minister DK Aruna has confessed today that Cener has alerted them two days ago about possible terror attacks in the city. On the other hand Home Ministry also stated that they even sent three officers on 16th, 19th and 20th to Hyderabad alerting the government of possible attacks. Hence, it is understood that the entire fault lies with state government and the police, who ignored or neglected the warnings of the Center that claims lives of many innocent people. Yet, no one in the state government or in the police has come forward to shoulder the moral responsibility for the incident. Everyone concerned in the state is hiding themselves behind hectic activity and talking about victims and culprits. Are they not accountable for their grave mistakes?

Kodhandaram flays Kiran Kumar

    Telangana JAC Chairman Prof.Kodhandaram has declared that the proposed ‘Sadak Bandh’ program is cancelled in wake of yesterday bomb blasts in Hyderabad. He said however it will be conducted in a later date. Today, T-JAC will conduct a candle light rally at Tank Bund in protest against yesterday incident. He said “If, Kiran Kumar Reddy government would have deployed 10% of his forces for the safety of the people, that he used to suppress their agitations, yesterday event would have been averted. Incidents like this happening only because the government is more concentrated on the Telangana activists than running the government. It has pressed maximum number of its forces to suppress the agitations, while ignoring the safety of the people.

Police suspect the injured in the blasts case?

  While, the blame game between the ruling Congress government and opposition is going on, the police and investegating agencies on job have found one of the injured in the yesterday twin bomb blasts incident was also present in Makka bomb blast case at Hyderabad in year 2007. Abudl is currently admitted in Yasodha hospital. Hence, police are gathering his details.   On the other end, national investegating agency has released photos of 8 suspects, who might be involved in yesterday’s twin bomb blast case. Sabarabad police have filed a criminal case and peacing toegther all the available evidences, including the CC TV footage of the trafic police. Saibarabad Police Commissioner Dwaraka Tirumala rao has announced a reward of Rs.5 lakh to 20 lakh to anyone who gives any significant clues in this case.   Home ministry is suspecting the hand of Indian Muzahiddin, who made a rekky in the same place in the last year. However, the governemnt is clueless of the persons involved in the blasts case. Even after , 24 hours no individual or gang has made any claims on the yesterday incident.

Opposition reacts sharply on Hyd. bomb blasts

  Although, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy has wasted no time in coming to Dishuk Nagar, where the serial bomb explosions takes place, home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde’s statement of forwarding intelligence inputs of possible terror attacks to concerned states two days in advance, has put him in big troubles. Entire opposition in the state quoting Shinde’s statement flays Kiran Kumar Reddy government for being negligent in responding to intelligence alerts, which could prevent the terror attack that took lives of several innocent people.   BJP said it is clear failure of State and Central governments in ensuring the safety of the people of the country. Kishan Reddy, BJP state chief has alleges that Hyderabad has turned into safe zone for terrorists and wherever such attacks takes place in the country, often its roots were found in Hyderabad only. He blames the ruling Congress party for turning blind eye on the sleeper cells taking shelter in the state capital. He gave bandh call for the state on Friday in protest against attacks. BJP Chief Rajnath Singh is also arriving Hyderabad today to review the situation.   TDP president Chandrababu also expressed deep shock over the incident and cancelling his padayatra is arriving Hyderabad today. He flays CM Kiran Kumar Reddy even for failing in ensuring safety of the people, while he failed in all other sectors of his government.   YSRCP honorary president YS.Vijayamma, who rushed to the spot on yesterday evening itself, has asked the government to provide good medical treatment to victims to avoid any further loss of lives. Sharmila has expressed her grief over the incident and cancelled her today’s padayatra expressing her solidarity to the victims.   TRS leaders also blame CM Kiran Kumar Reddy for the incident. Harish rao said despite receiving alerts from intelligence, he failed to take any preventive measures, with which several innocent people have lost their lives. He demands the government to at least try to provide good medical support to save the lives of the victims, who were admitted in different hospitals.   TJF leader Kavita alleges that, incidents like this repeats only because both state and central governments are misusing the intelligence department for ushering behind opposition parties to keep track of their activities rather than letting them do their duties.

Hyderabad - Massive Bomb blast - 21/13

11 people have been killed and 50 injured in two bomb blasts in a busy commercial area of Hyderabad this evening. There were reports of a third blast that were not confirmed by local officials. The blasts occurred about five minutes apart near a pair of cinemas and a bus stand in Dilsukhnagar, a crowded and congested area that houses a large fruit and vegetable market. Two bombs were planted on bicycles. "One bomb killed eight people, the other killed three," said Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. "It is possible the death toll will rise," he said.     Sources in his ministry said the blasts were a terror strike by "a well-trained" group which timed the explosions to cause the maximum damage. "This is a dastardly attack, the guilty will not go unpunished," tweeted the Prime Minister's Office. Mr Shinde said intelligence alerts about a possible terror attack had been received and shared with state governments over the last 48 hours, but he said there was no information specific to Hyderabad.  Exclusive Video footage

Serial bomb explosions at Dilshuk Nagar, Hyd.

  Three explosions takes place within a minute gap at Dilshuk Nagar in Hyderabad today around 7 pm near Konark and Venkatadri theaters, in which 22 people died in the spot. According to reports, 12 people died near Venkatadri theater and 10 at Konark Theater. 20 people were said to be seriously injured in the incident. The bomb kept in a two wheeler  parked near the Venkatadri theater went off first and then the other two bombs went off within a minute duration near a tiffin center located beside the theater. According to reports the location looks like a war hit zone, with limbs and bodies scattered everywhere. The incident takes place near to the local police station. Police and bomb disposal squads have immediately reached the spot and takes control of the situation. So far, no one has come forward making claims for the explosions.

Kadapa DCCB elction again postponed

  While, the Kadapa district Collector and Election Commission is making preparations to conduct election for the Chairman post of Kadapa DCCB today, government has stayed the election showing unrest in the area. It has postponed the election to February 25th. YSRCP, which made a clean sweep in the society elections and at ease of winning the DCCB Chairman post is fuming with government’s decision. It condemns government and demand for immediate election.

Harish rao warns AP NGOs

  TRS leader Harish rao has warned the AP NGO leaders not to try any idea of conducting public meeting on Samaikyandhra issue at Hyderabad in the name employees meetings. He flayed Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal for conspiring against Telangana movement, standing behind the AP NGOs. He warned, if they go ahead with their meeting plan, then they have to face serious consequences.   However, AP NGOs association President Gopal Reddy said that their meeting is now way related to any agitations or any political parties unlike their counter parts align with TRS and T-JAC. He said they are planning to hold the meeting only to highlight their demands to the government. He said they will be leaving for Hyderabad on March 2nd and will definitely hold a meeting on the next day. If, they were obstructed by the TRS or any other groups, police and the government will have to take responsibility.

KCR justifies his interest in elections

  When Congress back steps on Telangana issue, everyone has predicted that TRS and T-JAC are going to intensify their agitations. But, to their surprise they both have withdrawn from their fight and become busy with short listing of party candidates for the upcoming elections. KCR said that he is going to declare the first batch of 50 candidates during next month, which triggers lobbying in the party. Hence, except those assured of party tickets like KTR, Harish rao, Kavita etc all other leaders in TRS are busy with lobbying for the party tickets, thus temporarily setting aside their agitations.   KCR responding to this criticism said that taking part in elections is as necessary as of doing agitations. It is one of the path in achieving their goal of Telangana. He said unless there is sufficient strength in the Assembly and in Parliament, the Telangana issue can not be presented with full spirits. They will be able to bring the governments to its knees only when there is enough representation in both houses from the party. Hence, he asked the people to support TRS candidates in the MLC elections.

TSR initiates election battle with Purandeswari?

  Even before the election bell rings in the state, the fight for Vizag parliament seat begins between MP T. Subbi Rami Reddy (TSR) and union Minister D.Purandeswari. Both claims on Vizag seat with different reasons. While, TSR claims that he has assurance from party high command (while contesting bye elections held in Nellore in the last year), Purandeswari asks why should she vacate her seat for others? TSR has suggested her to contest from Narasarao peta and leave Vizag seat to him.   But, in an interview given to ABN news he rejected the reports. He said he has never asked her to shift to Narasarao Peta or some other constituency, but just said that he is seeking re-election from Vizag. However, he said it is up to party high command to decide to whom the Vizag seat to allot and he will obey the party order. However, he said he had some secret pact with party high command in this regard, which he can’t disclose to media.   When asked about probability of mid-term polls, he said it depends on the SP and BSP parties’ decision. If they withdraw their support to the government mid-term polls are inevitable for UPA government, said TSR.

The inhuman approach of Sri Lankan army

                      A latest photo and video evidence that fall into hands of Indian Media has created uproar over the brutal killing of 12 year old boy Balachandran Prabhakaran s/o deceased LTTE Chief Prabhakaran. According to reports, during the final phase of military operation, the Sri Lankan armed forces have caught the boy sitting in a bunker without any weapons in hand. Then after the operation was over, he was seen lying dead on the ground.   The two photographs taken by unknown sources probably by Sri Lankan solders have clearly shows that he was alive before they begin their operation and dead after completion, which proves he was brutally killed by them. However, Sri Lankan government refusing the allegations has stated he was killed during the cross fire and the photos circulating in the media were morphed ones. However, both the photos were taken with same camera and in hour duration. The boy was seen sitting alone in the bunker in the first photo and found dead with his chest pierced with bullets in the other photo.   Come whatever Sri Lankan government explanation is, it is evident that its solders have brutally killed an innocent little boy, who has nothing do with LTTE activities. This strengthens the allegations being made by the political parties of the Tamilnadu state against Sri Lankan military and the government of their brutal masacare of innocent women, children and elderly people during their final wash-out miletary operation.

  UPA government, which has been at receiving end for surfacing series of scams during the last one year has again struck with Augusta Choppers scam, that involves Rs.320 crores bribes. Although, the UPA wore an innocent face in this case, the main opposition party BJP does not want to let it go off its hook. It demands for Joint parliamentary Committee for which UPA initially refused. But, unable to sustain the growing pressures finally UPA has agreed for a JPC inquiry into the case. Union Minister Kamalnath has announced this to media at New Delhi today.   However, the frequency of scams surfacing in the ruling UPA government has reached to an alarming level. Each new scam replaces the older one from the probing list and finally ends up with scrapping the matter. The special committees, CBI investigations and their reports have virtually turned into a big farce, proved to be waste of time and public money as none of the activities could nab a single culprit in any of the cases until now. Whoever brought to book is roaming free availing bail facility.   While, the opposition mainly grabs it to gain political mileage out of it, the media sticks to it until it finds another such hot topic of public interest. Hence, even the government is also understood and accustomed to this typical system and boldly faces the media and opposition without feeling any guilty. BJP leader Venkayya Naidu has said ever since the UPA takes charge of the country, there was no interval for scams. He said one scam replaces the older one.

YSRCP to drag Chandrababu to court?

  Somayajulu, the once personal advisor of late YSR and presently associating Jagan Mohan Reddy has told the media that YSR Congress party has been carefully observing Chandrababu, who is making baseless allegations against YSR family members ever since he begins padayatra. He said Chandrababu seems to be under severe pressure and talking rubbish against YSR family members. Hence, YSRCP is thinking to file defamation case against him, to begin with the baseless allegations that he made against Brother Anil Kumar. He flays Chandrababu for making tall promises on waving off loans of farmers, while he did nothing to them during his regime.

Can Anna fight alone against corruption?

  Social activist Anna Hazare, who is engaged in an endless fight against corruption, was dismayed to see very poor response to his meeting held at Hyderabad on Sunday evening. Hardly there were a thousand people attend his meeting out of which were his ‘India against Corruption’ forum members and some retired people. Hazare, who is used to draw huge crowds wherever he holds meetings, is shocked to see poor turnout at Hyderabad. Probably, it happens because due to lack of co-ordination between the organizers and lack of proper publicity about his meeting. However, it did not deter his confidence levels. He continues his speech with his usual confidence tone. He said even if could gather support of 6 crore out of 125 crore people of the country, he can complete his task.   While, the grand old man of the country is rallying with his fight, the poor response from the people may discourage him from further touring down in the south. If, people ignore such movements then it will be nothing less of a patting for the ruling governments to go ahead with their corrupt practices like Auguesta helicopters’ scams. Unless people stand by social activists like him and Aravind Kejriwal, even they also can’t dare to raise the finger against the government. During the last five years of Congress ruling several scams have surfaced one after the other, but all of them suppressed during the course of time, only because people have lost interest in them. If, the ignorance continues further it will lead to a disaster in their lives. Hence, it is time for the people to at lest stand by the persons like Anna Hazare who are sparing his time to fight on their behalf.

  Election Commission, which initially prohibited any padayatras between 19th and 21st in wake of MLC elections, when approached by TDP leaders allows Chandrababu to continue his padayatra in Guntur district, but clearly away from polling booths. Hence, it obviously clears way for Sharmila, who will begin her padayatra in the district from tomorrow onwards. Hence, Chandrababu will continue his padayatra as usually in the district.
