It seems the fight between the ruling TDP and the YSR Congress party has reached its peak with the statewide dharnas being conducted by the latter today. Deputy CM KE Krishna Murthy, Ministers Ganta Srinivasa rao, Achchem Naidu and many others from the state government are fuming upon Jagan Mohan Reddy for trying to defame the government with his dharnas. They ask him to reveal what is his actual intention behind staging dharnas even when the government is clearing the crop loans. They allege him of trying to politicize this issue to get some political mileage out of it and to keep his party intact.

Minister Ganta Srinivasa rao wrote a public letter to Jagan Mohan Reddy asking his explanation to five questions. He asks whether Jagan has opposed the idea of crop loans waiver during elections time or not. If so, why is he staging dharnas demanding to clear the crop loans now? He asked whether Jagan really wants the state government to clear the crop loans or not. He asked Jagan whether he is staging dharnas asking the government not to waive off the crop loans. He flayed Jagan for politicizing this issue for self-political gains, when the CM Chandrababu Naidu is striving hard to implement all his elections promises even when the state is facing severe financial crunch.

However, YSR Congress party argues that TDP government is creating obstacles to its dharnas fearing to watch the massive response and its impact on the people.But, there is lukewarm response to its dharnas in East, West Godavari, Krishna, Chittoor, Vizianagaram districts, where it lacks enough strength. However, it managed to mobilize huge crowds to its maha-dharna being conducted at Vizag in which party president Jagan Mohan Reddy is taking part. So, YSR Congress party is trying to highlight his maha-dharna, while playing low with dharnas conducted in other districts, so as to claim its dharnas very successful.
