People may hear about many discussions on why the Congress party was defeated in the elections. They even hear similar discussions on YSR Congress party defeat in AP and TDP-BJP combo defeat in Telangana state. TDP MLA Errabelli Dayakar rao also has something to offer for TRS party victory in the elections.

Speaking in the Assembly he said “TRS has come to power only because of Congress mischiefs and failures. So, it should always remember that it should not repeat the same mistakes again. It is ignoring the problems being faced by farmers. So, hundreds of farmers have committed suicide during six months ruling of TRS party. If, it fails to stop their suicides immediately, a day will come for it to face the same experience of Congress party.”

Errabelli has well assessed the reasons for Congress party defeat, but he too knows that it is just one out of hundred other reasons. Actually, Congress was quite sure to win the elections for carving Telangana state. It made several wrong steps before and after passing the bifurcation bill and during elections period. Though, no one can appreciate Congress ruling in the undivided AP state, also no one can blame it for its poor governance as Telangana agitations do not allows it to think about anything, except handling these matters.

Congress high command that turned blind eye on Telangana agitations for ten years was completely absorbed with bifurcation process during last six months of its ruling. Would it handled this sensitive matter ten years ago, definitely there may be no TRS party or its president KCR. So, Congress party has to blame itself for letting TRS emerge as strong political party in Telangana state. Congress high command also committed an irreversible mistake by relying upon TRS president KCR than its trusted leaders. KCR was able to take full credit and advantage of Telangana state creation for the same reasons.
