Several Congress and TDP leaders have joined the ruling TRS party in the recent past. While some of them have joined it fearing their political future will go blink if continued in mother parties, some others, especially from TDP have joined TRS hoping to get some minister post or some key post in the Telangana government, but none of them got any post until now. They all are hopefully waiting for the cabinet expansion all these days, but in vain.

There are reports in the media that the CM KCR may expand his cabinet before bdget sessions of the assembly, but he didn't. Now once again media is abuzz with the reports that it may take place in the next month. If, it is delayed due to any reasons, obviously they will be greatly disappointed.

Tummala Nageswara rao is one among such senior leaders, who is awaiting his turn for minister post. He has played a key role in TDP for many years and virtually turned the Khammam district into a strong fort to party. But, later the CM KCR somehow has managed to attract him into TRS party. There are reports that then he was promised to give a minister post. People also consider the reports are genuine because of his strong relations with the CM KCR. Srinivas Goud, who was also assured of minister post some time ago, is also waiting for it.

So, they may be pressurizing the CM KCR to go for cabinet expansion at the earliest. However, he knew that they can’t afford to return to their mother parties in the present situation, whether he accommodates them in his government or not. So, KCR may take his own time to expand his cabinet.
