After Monday's scare, Sri Satya Saibaba is stable and his vital systems have shown considerable improvement, doctors at the Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS) here said on Tuesday. However, he continues to be on ventilator. While his level of consciousness has improved considerably and his vital organs are working, Saibaba continues to be on continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) to assist the functioning of his kidneys. "Saibaba continues to be in a stable condition. All other vital parameters are normal and satisfactory. He is under constant watch of a panel of experts," said A N Safaya, director, SSSIHMS. A bulletin issued by him in the night said Saibaba was responding to the treatment. "We cannot say he's out of danger, but he is responding to CRRT which is a good sign for us," it said. "His heart beat and BP have improved. He is able to hear voices. But he's unable to talk because of several tubes in his mouth," it said. Sources said a video bulletin was released in which Dr Safaya was visible.
