Hyderabad: Toxic chemical waste is being dumped into drainage lines by the industries, which has become an important problem at Quthbullapur. Homes have had been often moved and protests were made by the residents because of the stink that is emerging from the manufactories. Quthbullapur TRS MLA K P Vivekananda on this context said that, the entire constituency was located in and around major engineering as well as pharmaceutical industries. The areas that face high pollution were the whole of Subash nagar and parts of Quthbullapur and Jeedimetla, he said accusing that, the pollution control board had not taken action against the polluters.
