BJP held a national council meeting at New Delhi, where the party has endorsed the appointment of Amit Shah as party president. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made an inspiring speech.

“People have given their verdict through ballot in our favor. Now it is our turn to return the favor to the people. Those, who could do nothing in last 60 years of ruling, are asking us what we have done in the last 60 days. But, I am very sure that we are exactly going in right direction. Currently, we are judged by different and tough yard sticks. Though, I am not aware why it is happening so, I am confident that we will pass the tests,” said Modi.

He said, “Those, who suffered a massive defeat in the elections, still couldn’t come out of the shock and the mood. So, they are still indulged in vote bank politics. They are trying to disturb the social fabric of the country. So our party cadres all over the country need to play a crucial role to ensure communal and national unity.”

The whole world is looking towards us. It may not take longtime to reach the expectations of the whole world, if we continue the same pace in developing the country. If the country is developed, the 125 crore people living in it will also will get the fruits of that development. But, I don’t think Prime Minister alone can do this difficult task without the help and support of the party cadres. It is time for us to do a team work to meet the aspirations of the people,” said Narendra Modi.
