BJP has been hesitating to name Narendra Modi as its Prime Ministerial candidate, because its key ally JDU in NDA coalition is opposing his leadership. Hence, it even can’t dare to use his services in Karnataka elections until now, only because of this fear only. But, at last BJP seems has gathered some courage and sent him to Karnataka just before end of the campaigning period. Modi as usually takes upon his favorite targets Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul Gandhi in his elections campaigning held at Bangalore south on yesterday. “While the mother is stating ‘power is poison’, the son is asking ‘give us power’. Whom do we believe? Is he disobeying his mother or is he dishonest with his own ideology that he is revealing these days after taking charge of the party? I challenge the Congress leaders born with golden spoons to compare ‘a five-year-term of Congress and a five-year-term of BJP’, which will reveals the great difference between the efficiency between the two governments. I am sure by now people might have realized the fact that if the Congress party is given a chance to rule the state, definitely it will extend its scams and corrupt practices to state level. It is BJP alone can give a clean and transparent government,” said Narendra Modi. However, Narendra Modi, keeping in view of the tarnished image of mining-scam-hit ruling BJP government in the state, he encouraged the other leaders of the state wing to take lead in the campaign than taking full charge of it. Modi, who assessed the negative mood of the Karnataka people, prefers to play it low because he too very well knew that if he fails to lead the party to victory in the elections, definitely it will spoil his chances to become Prime Minister of the country. So, he lets the other leaders to speak in the campaign as against his dominating style in the campaigning.
