The state Congress party, which already splits into two groups as Seemandhra and Telangana groups, now appears to be heading for one more split within Seemandhra group. Today, some ministers, who are crossing swords with CM Kiran Kumar Reddy from the beginning and some others who are upset to see him stealing the show of Samaikyandhra with his arguments against high command, have met in finance minister Anam Rami Narayana Reddy’s residence. To begin with, PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana, Vatti Vasantha Kumar, Chiranjeevi, C. Ramachandraiah, Raghuveeraa Reddy, Anam brothers and Bala Raju have participated in this meeting. Later, Botsa Satyanarayana left for New Delhi to meet party state political in-charge Digvijay Singh and Antony Committee, probably to report about the outcome of their meeting, besides reporting about other issues. Later, Anam Raminarayana Reddy speaking to the media has said “This is not a meeting against CM Kiran Kumar Reddy or to oppose his views on bifurcation. We met here to discuss the prevailing situation in the state. It is not correct to say that CWC decision was made without consulting anyone. We are aware that everyone concerned with this issue has been consulted before taking this decision. So, it is our responsibility to accept CWC decision.” “We have asked Chiranjeevi to stress the high command to send the Antony Committee for a state visit to pacify the people, who have been agitating for Samaikyandhra for the last two months. Telangana people are also very much worried with the delay taking place in starting the bifurcation process, the way Seemandhra are people having fears about bifurcation. So, we believe that problems can be sorted out only with discussions between two sides,” said Anam. Hence this is an unexpected twist in Seemandhra camp. Whoever, attends this meeting have expressed their full support to party high command and willing to abide by its decision, thus presenting themselves as the alternative choice for replacing CM Kiran Kumar Reddy, who is opposing high command’s decision. This meeting also makes it clear that though all these ministers are speaking in favor of Samaikyandhra, actually they have no objections for dividing the state. Probably, this development may ease some pressure on the high command. It may now have a choice to replace CM Kiran Kumar Reddy with some loyal person from this group of ministers, without destabilizing its own government. Will he be Chiranjeevi? Botsa Satyanarayana or Anam Raminarayana Reddy?
