Whoever leaving the Congress party in the AP state are saying that they are very much disappointed to see the party situation is worsening despite severe efforts. They predict that it may take at least a decade time for Congress to retain its position.

However, whoever still clings to the Congress party is doing their bit of job to win the hearts of the people. Evidently, they found special status issue as the savior of the party. Hence, they are agitating for it hoping one day the hearts of the people start melting for the Congress party. After taking a month long interval, Congress leaders have come-up with a new idea of sending 1 crore SMS messages to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and his ministers insisting for special status to the Andhra Pradesh state.

Former minister Sailajanath, who until now was seems to be in sleep-mode becomes active again and shoulders the responsibility of making this SMS program a grand success. He said that he will start this program at Visakhapatnam on September 23rd. He appeals the students to co-operate with his party in making this program grand success.

Evidently, PCC President Raghuveera Reddy appears to be entrusted him this task as he knows that Sailajanath earns some good name for his fierce fight against bifurcation of the state. Sailajanath is trying to involve the students in this program in a bid to bring them close to his party. If, they react positively, then the Congress party may come-up with such plans again to get their support to the party.

Congress party may be agitating for special status but basically it is fighting to win the hearts of the people and to retain its position in the state. Once, it retains its position then once again it indulges with its dirty political games that people have been seeing since many decades.
