It is evident that there are very high expectations on Aam Admi that takes charge of Delhi government on Saturday. It is due to its promises made to people during elections. However, would it made some typical and routine promises like any other parties do to people all these years, perhaps, no one would have minds about them and definitely there will not be this much of hype created. Even it may not get these much of seats and backing of the people. The hype is there because all its promises are virtually linked to problems being faced by the common man for decades and exactly reflects what they are expecting from any government. However, Congress and BJP even a section of media also are whole heartedly praying the god to see that Aam Admi miserably fails in implementing its election promises and just, just.. fall apart before 2014 general elections, so as they can again go for a usual ride on the back of common man. But, Arvind Kejriwal and his team seem to be determined to fulfill their promises, if not in full, at least as much as they can do. He too has agreed that he is not carrying a magic wand in his hand to change the things overnight, but is firmly saying that it is not impossible to change things, if put enough effort with honesty. The measures that he and his ministers take in the next few days will definitely spell their honesty and ability in implementing the election promises. When, people of India could give Congress party 56 years’ of time to see themselves in this present stage, it is not wise to ask Aam Admi to do miracles overnight. They should give them enough time to accustom to the administrative procedures and flex their muscles. It may need not less than 5 to 6 months’ time, but Congress has already announced that it can hardly give 3 months’ time to do any miracles. If, Aam Admi could implement at least 25 per cent of its election promises, then Congress may not afford to withdraw its support to Aam Admi as it may be providing scope for AAP to get re-elected with full majority. So, all it can do now is just sit and pray god let Aam Admi fail and fall apart before 2014 general elections. If Aam Admi is successful in its efforts then Congress and BJP have to forget about Delhi and also have to change their ideology of dealing common man. Let us hope common man will win over the political parties.
