Vote, show your inked finger & get discounts

This was a slogan on a popular FM radio channel. The advertisement had the anchors telling the people to go out and vote and by showing their inked finger they would get fabulous discounts .This novel concept of attracting customers and creating awareness among the voters was made in collaboration with a leading English Daily and popular retail outlet. The customers would be given discount on the products available in the outlet. Lakme Salon has also announced a 50 percent discount on haircuts to encourage women to vote in the north. According to the company the idea came about because of the elections and they materialised it to encourage the masses to vote. A complete contrast to what the politicians are doing by trying to win votes through cash & liquor which are flowing high in the Seemandhra region.
