After a major fight back in the disproportionate assets case, Jayalalitha is all set to swear in as Chief Minister of Tamilnadu for the fifth time today at 11 am in Madras University Centenary Auditorium.
After Paneer Selvam resigned as Chief Minister, Jayalalitha was on Friday elected unanimously as AIADMK legislature leader by the party. She also called up on Governor K. Rosaiah and handed over a copy of resolution passed by Party MLAs. Mr paneer selvam and four other senior ministers accompanied jayalalitha.
Jayalalitha cabinet will now consist of 28 incumbent ministers plus her retaining almost all the minister of Paneer’s cabinet except few minor changes. Agricultural ministry has now been handed over to housing minister S.Vaithilingam. Shockingly, M.S.M Anandhan has been shown the door as his portfolio being handed over to highways minister Palanisamy.
