Akhanda 2 premiere and regular bookings in Telangana to open soon

on Dec 10, 2025

Akhanda 2 starring God of Masses Nandamuri Balakrishna and directed by Boyapati Srinu, is the most anticipated sequel of Akhanda. The movie sorted out the financial issues that stopped its release on 5th December and it is releasing on 12th December. Makers have been waiting for Government Order for price hikes.

The premieres are scheduled for 9:00 PM Tomorrow (11th December), and the ticket price will be Rs. 600 (excluding GST). Furthermore, the revised ticket rates will be in effect for a three-day period, starting from the film's general release date of 12th December up to 14th December.

During this time, theatre managements are allowed to increase the base ticket price:

Multiplexes: A hike of Rs. 100 per ticket.

Single Screens: A hike of Rs. 50 per ticket.

A notable condition of the G.O. is the mandate that 20% of the incremental revenue generated from this hike must be contributed to the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation Welfare Association Account to support film workers. This decision aims to balance industry demands with welfare initiatives.

14 Reels Plus producers are happy with this decision and they have instructed Multiplexes and single screens in Telangana area to start bookings as early as possible. The movie premieres and schedules will be decided by theatres in few hours to open the bookings.
