The Andhra Pradesh State cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has taken some important decisions today. It approves the aerospace, food processing, mining, agriculture marketing policies. The cabinet also approves the proposals for allotment of 28 acres land for industrial purpose in Guntur and 20 acres in Prakasham district for setting up ultra-modern driving school.

 

Later speaking to the media, CM Chandrababu Naidu said “We were thrown on to the roads with bifurcation. Previous UPA government has tried to create rift between people of the state by constituting Shivarama Krishnan Committee to identify the location for the capital city. But, we are happy that people have trusted us and allowed us to build capital city in quite suitable location.”

 

“I understand the Telangana government is not willing to co-operate with us, instead it is still trying to cash in with Telangana sentiment.”

 

“I would like to say that June 2nd is not a time for celebrations but it is to be considered an inspiring day to re construct our state from scratch. Hence, I appeal the people to take active part in Nav Nirmana Deeksha that starts from June 2nd,” said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to media at Hyderabad
