Jagan Asks SC to Over-rule HC Order

Recently the AP high court has asked the CBI to probe in to the wealth of Kadapa MP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Now the MP had sought the Supreme Court to over rule that order. It was alleged that Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy has amassed sizeable wealth during the tenure of his father late YS Rajasekhar Reddy as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.

 
AP Handlooms & Textiles Minister Shankar Rao accused Jagan of  "amassing public money"  while his father was Chief Minister. He alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy indulged in  money laundering by floating fictitious firms and routing  black money through some companies in Mauritius. Basing on the plaint, the high court ordered a preliminary inquiry by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into wealth accumulated by Jagan and sought report within two weeks.

CBI issues notices to Jagan's companies
