Will Chandrababu also face ire of Telangana?

  Chandrababu Naidu for the first time after the announcement of bifurcation of state is visiting Nalgonda district today. In wake of the bitter experiences that Vijayamma has faced yesterday during her tour in Kammam and the way she was forced to return to Hyderabad without visiting Nalgonda district, people are keen to see how he will be treated now by Telangana people. But, he may not face the same kind of treatment that Vijayamma received yesterday,  since his party is not opposing creation of Telangana state, but demanding equal justice for both statesonly. However, if he is allowed to visit Telangana area without any troubles, it may create apositive impression for him and TDP. So, definitely some level of protests by TRS cadres is certain. He is visiting the flood affected areas in Nalgonda district today.

Patna bomb blasts accused gives slip to NIA

  Mahre Alam, one of the suspects arrested in Patna serial bomb blasts case escape from police custody on Thursday, when he was allowed to go toilet near Muzaffarpur. However there were reports that he gave a slip to NIA sleuths Wednesday morning itself and start a search for him. He was arrested from Darbhanga on Tuesday and managed to escape even before facing NIA interrogation.

Vijayamma Telangana tour flop

  The YSR Congress party’s trial run in Telangana conducted by its honorary president Vijayamma proved not successful. She faced the ire of the people throughout her visit and eggs and chappals were hurled at her vehicle in few places in Kammam district. A youngster jumped on to her vehicle giving a slip to police and attacked on the front glass pane of her vehicle. However, police immediately drags him away from her vehicle.   Since the situation is turning worse, police have asked her not to visit Nalgonda. But, when she denied and sat for a dharna, police have arrested her and shifting to Hyderabad. While, Ministers Jana Reddy and Uttam Kumar’s call given for making protests ignites the fire, Vijayamma’s statements added fuel to the fire. She said her party is for Samaikyandhra and asserted that Telangana will not form ever. She alleges that those parties, which are afraid of her visit in Telangana that may strengthen her party base, are behind these protests and attacks.

Court rejects Lalu’s bail plea

  The state high court today rejected the bail petition of former CM of Bihar state Lalu Prasad, who was arrested in fodder scam. Currently, he is in Ranchi jail convicted with five years jail term.

Samaikyandhra Memorandum to Mrs Nirupama Rao

        While several Congress men and Senators from Obama Government were enjoying the felicitations in Indian style in Congressional Diwali ( a Diwali Meet organized by NR Community in Washington DC ) , Indian Ambassador Mrs Nirupama Rao had faced the protest group on the current AP State bifurcation issue in Rayburn House ( one of the buildings of Capital Hill- the US Parliament)   Mrs Sailaja Adluri, Founder Chairman, Andhrapradesh NRI Forum, Mr Satish Vemana, NRI Telugu Desam party leader, Mr Jagadish Prabhala, prominent NRI from Columbus Ohio, Mr Ponnam Mantena, President, APNRI Forum, have met Mrs Nirupama Rao in the Rayburn Building on the eve of Congressional Diwali and expressed their anguish on the way Govt of India has ignored the feelings and views of over 60 million people from Andhra region and declared a separate Tenlangana state with Hyderabad. They also explained on Samaikandhra agitation being carried out by the public with out the support and supervision of any political party and political leaders. They presented a Memorandum to Mrs Nirupama Rao and requested her to inform Govt of India at  New Delhi. Mrs Nirupama Rao, Indian Ambassador to America has listened the Groups protest and assured that she would do the needful of forwarding their protest memorandum to New Delhi. USA has been witnessing several activities supporting the current Samaikyandhra agitation in AP  as many groups in several cities like New Jersey, San Jose, Dallas etc have expressed their solidarity to Samaikyandhra in different forms. One such group in the fore front is Andhra Pradesh NRI Forum which is functioning for the last few years.  Started by a group of Telugu NRIs in USA, under the Chairmanship of Mrs Sailaja Adluri, Philadelphia, had earlier involved in Samaikyandhra movement by submitting a Report to Sri Krishna Commission, meeting and discussion with Sri Krishna Commission, running a Media campaign supporting United Andhra, conducting AP Formation Day celebrations on 1st November in several cities in USA.

Mulayam over rides Left Parties meeting

  The Left parties’ idea to bring all the non-Congress and non-BJP parties onto a common platform to fight against communalism at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium in Delhi was actually an attempt to initiate efforts for forming an alternative platform-Third Front to encash the political confusion prevailed in the country. However, the agenda of the meeting was over raided by the individual agendas of the regional parties’ like Samajwadi party led by Mulayam Singh, who eyes this opportunity to project himself as the right candidate for chairing Prime Minister post. So, the meeting was dominated by his followers and his bhajans, rather than discussing about communalism or Third Front formation. This left both the Left parties quite annoyed and dismayed.

Shinde proposal makes T-JAC fume

  Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde’s proposal for conducting one more all party meeting, obviously irks the T-JAC leaders, who opine it as a foolish idea when the bifurcation process has reached a crucial point.   The T-JAC leaders, who met at Hyderabad yesterday soon after Shinde announced his decision, strongly condemns his proposal. T-JAC chairman Prof.Kodandaram speaking to media “We consider this as an attempt to delay the bifurcation process. It is absurd to summon all party meeting after taking their views in the past on the same issue. Shinde’s proposal may create apprehensions in Telangana youth and may lead to suicides again. Hence, the Center should proceed with bifurcation process and pass Telangana bill in the winter parliament sessions itself without any further delay,” he said.   T-NGOs President Devisri Prasad said “It is a conspiracy to hold back bifurcation process. I think this happens only after CM Kiran Kumar Reddy shooting letters to Prime Minister and President raising objections on bifurcation process and his mention about Article 371 (D) in the letters. CM Kiran is intentionally creating apprehensions in the employees by mentioning Article 371 (D) in the letters. However, his government is not taking the opinions of Telangana employees, while sending the employment details to GoM. I think Seemandhra employees may again go on a strike for Samaikyandhra as they were given two months salaries recently.”

Is Vijayamma visit to Telangana strategic?

  For the first time after jumping out of Telangana, YSR Congress party is again stepping into Telangana today. The heavy downpour may be proved devastating for farmers, but it comes as a blessing for YSR Congress party providing an apt reason to put its step back into Telangana. YSRCP honorary president Vijayamma will visit the flood affected areas and farmers in Kammam and Nalgonda districts today.   Perhaps, YSR Congress may be very much strategic in sending Vijayamma to conduct this trial run. Her tour may provide necessary feedback about how Telangana people are responding to YSR Congress, after it took a ‘U’ turn on bifurcation for the sake of its Seemandhra political interests. If, the party senses any amount of positive atmosphere in Vijayamma’s tour, then Sharmila and later Jagan Mohan Reddy may take lead to attend party programs that may be chalked out by Jagan to revamp his party in Telangana.   TRS and T-Congress leaders are opposing Vijayamma stepping into Telangana. According to reports, TRS gave a bandh call for the two districts and threaten to obstruct her tour.

Can the Center ensure T-Bill passed in winter sessions

  According to reports, Congress party is planning to introduce T-Bill in the winter sessions. So, the GoM constituted to study and recommend its suggestions on bifurcation was given a deadline of November 5th.   Apart from the GoM, a special task force also constituted to study the law and order situation during and after bifurcation of the state. It was asked to submit its report by November 5th. The GoM has to take its suggestions and recommendations into its consideration while preparing the draft bill. The GoM is scheduled to meet on November 7th, which would be its last and final meeting.   The way the Center is anxious to complete the complicated task leaves Samaikyandhra protagonists in despair. They wonder how the UPA government is planning to introduce the bill on Telangana in the Parliament winter sessions that begins from November 5th, when there is lengthy process of forwarding the draft note to Cabinet, President of India, State Assembly and back to President and again to Cabinet for preparing a final bill.   Former DGP Anjaneya Reddy, who was asked to give his suggestions to special Task Force about the law and order problems that may arise during and after bifurcation, has refused to give because he also for Samaikyandhra and strongly believes that the Center can’t be able to pass the T-Bill in Parliament.

Lokesh Tweets underlines Congress MPs failure

  Nara Lokesh, who closely follows the latest political developments and situation in the state and Center, often comes with his sharp remarks aiming his guns at his rival parties and their leaders.   Responding to a report published in leading English daily that writes that the UPA Government is giving Maharashtra Rs.921.98 crore to compensate loss of Onion farmers and also expected to extend similar package for other onion producing states where farmers had suffered due to excess rain, Lokesh tweets: NCP with 9 MP's is able to get the required resources for their state, & INC with 31 MP's from our state get us "0".   His close observation of reports like this are really appreciable where as people generally prefer to overlook such reports. He simply but quite powerfully projected the point that how our MPs fails to fight for the cause of the people even after seeing two severe cyclones storming the state. Almost all the MPs are either indulged in a fight against bifurcation or for Telangana cause, but none of them take pains to stress the Center to grant funds for flood affected farmers. However, Ministers like Chiranjeevi, Pallam Raju, Panabaka, Kavuri and many are making bee lines to flood affected areas only face the heat of the people. Yet, their attitude never changes.   Because of their ignorance or lack of interest, the UPA government dominant by several Maharashtra and northern state ministers obviously gives utmost importance to the concerned states while turning blind eye on states like us, which lacks proper representation for their cause.

Is Center taking advantage of Seemandhra Dilemma

  The Congress, which is all set to split the Telugu people, is again splitting Seemandhra people into two groups as pro and anti- bifurcation groups again. While the dilemma in political parties and Seemandhra people continues over giving representation to GoM, the Center taking advantage of their dilemma situation is pushing the pro-bifurcation groups to give representation to GoM.   Those who firmly opposing bifurcation are believing that any mode of representation to GoM is nothing but accepting Center’s proposal of dividing the state, others like Purandeswari, Panabaka argue that if fail to give representation gross injustice to Seemandhra is certain. So, it is understood that Congress is wise enough to divide the people again so as it can spearhead with its plans.   Congress party state political in-charge Digvijay Singh has asked the people and parties of both regions to send their suggestions over bifurcation to GoM before November 5th. He said any of their concrete suggestions will be included in the relevant draft bill. The GoM will have its final meeting on November 7th and will submit its report to Cabinet.

39 passengers died in bus fire near Hyd.

  Around 39 passengers were charred to death, when the bus they are travelling caught fire at in Palem village of Kottakota Mandalam in Mehboob Nagar district. The Jabbar Travels Volvo Bus No: AP02-TA 0963, originated from Bangalore yesterday night caught fire around 5.20 am near Palem village, when it is expected to reach Hyderabad in an hour or so.   The fire accident occurs when all the passengers are in deep sleep. According to reports there are 45 passengers in the bus. Except driver, cleaner and few lucky passengers, who are able to jump out of the bus breaking the window glasses rest, were burned to death in the fire accident. According to survivors, within minutes the bus was engulfed by the fire and there is no chance for the passengers to escape from the fire.   According to reports, the bus driver has rammed into road divider while trying to overtake a car and the diesel tank of the bus caught fire and it spreads to bus within minutes. But, the driver, who was admitted in the hospital, says the bus rammed into divider after he lost control on the bus because the front tyre of the bus busted suddenly. Rest of the ill-fated passengers’ names to be announced yet.  

Infosys may be fined for violating visa norms by US Court

  The world’s IT giant Infosys is likely to be fined by a district court in Texas for its alleged misuse of forms I-9 of business visas (B-1) meant for short term visits and that have restrictions from engaging in a gainful employment during the stay. The employer uses I-9 form part B-1 visas to verify an employee’s identity and to establish that worker is eligible to accept employment in the US. The US legal department found that there are certain violations takes place in I-9 forms of B-1 visas.   Hence, the Infosys, which is under investigation by the US justice department was served notices by the Texas court on May 23, 2011 for violating the visa norms. The court is likely levy a fine of $35 million that comes around Rs.219 crores.   Infosys chief executive SD Shibulal told the media earlier this month that the Company has set aside Rs.219 crores to meet the legal expenses. This hints that Infosys is already prepared to pay the penalty if the court convicts it in the B-1 visa violations. Obviously, it reflects on Infosys shares, that comes down by 0.6 percent thus bring the share value to Rs.3,304.65 in NSE.

Modi will never become PM: Nitish

  Two days after Narendra Modi digs at Nitish Kumar at his Patna meeting, he gave a fitting reply to Modi in his concluding speech at two-day JD (U) convention that begins yesterday. The way Modi makes fun out him in his speech, Nitish Kumar also cut some jokes on him.   He described "The Modi hype created by BJP is like a wind. It is not a natural wind, but artificial wind created with the help of blower. He (Modi) drinks enough water and sweats enough while attacking me in his meeting. He keeps drinking water and wiping his sweat throughout his speech in the meeting. Thanks for the pains taken by him.I am sure his dreams to become Prime Minister of India will never be fulfilled. He is just day dreaming. Any one, who dreams for such a position in a country like us, should learn to be patient and sober. I think Modi has no such qualities in him. So, he may never become Prime Minister of the country, come how much he sweats.”   In fact, Nitish Kumar is also dreaming to become Prime Minister of India. Probably, that is why distanced from BJP led NDA alliance first and then from Congress led UPA alliance, where there is no scope for him. Hence, he is trying to form Third Front to fulfill his dreams. But, he should realize that even in the Third front there are several aspirants like Mayavati, Mulayam Singh Khan and many others. so, his dream to become Prime Minister of the country may not become true in the near future.

Arrest warrants for Anjali issued

  Anjali, might have impressed the audiences with her marvelous performance in Mahesh and Venkatesh combo movie ‘Sitamma Vakitlo,’ but she makes the Saidapet Court in Chennai fumes upon her for ignoring its summons for several times. A defamation case was filed against her by Kollywood director Kolinzeum after she accused him of harassing and robbing all her money. She has been absconding court since last several months, although she was given several chances to attend the court. So, the court issued non-bailable arrest warrants against her and asked the police to produce her before the court on November 22nd if she fails to attend the court on her own. So, Anjali may have to face the court ire apart from facing the legal problems.

Is Diwakar Reddy speaking on CM Kiran Behalf?

  Ever since Jagan conducted Samaikya Shankaravam meeting at Hyderabad on October 26th senior Congress leader JC Diwakar Reddy has been targeting Jagan and his own party high command linking them altogether. However, at the same time he is certifying CM Kiran Kumar Reddy as the real hero of Samaikyandhra and supports him for shooting letters to Delhi. Even after, Botsa warns him, he did not steps back but intensifies his attacks further on party high command.   Kiran Kumar Reddy being CM of the state can’t go that wild, he might be encouraging Diwakar Reddy to aim his guns at high command on his behalf as a part of his strategy to slowdown the bifurcation process while preparing for launching of his new political party, opines political analysts. Probably, that is why Diwakar Reddy said that he will not afraid, even if he is served show cause notices by party.

Former Miss Universe and veteran actress Sushmitha Sen has been felicitated with prestigious Mother Teresa International Award by The Harmony Foundation at Kolkata on Sunday for her social service. She thanked the Foundation for choosing her for the award.
