    Google introduces `JOBS NEAR ME’

This might be some good news for job seekers. As the unemployment rate in the country began to climb, Google seem to have thought of a way to solve it. Google has tied up with popular job listing websites and online classifieds such as QuikrJobs, TimesJobs and started displaying vacant jobs. Just type the keywords like `Jobs near me’ or `Jobs for freshers’ and you will get the jobs displayed in more than 30 fields. Check out!

    Rahul Gandhi

    Murder attempt against Rahul Gandhi?

Though this is not exactly the words used by the congress party, it has used `intentional tampering’ of an aircraft that was carrying the congress president. It all started on yesterday morning when Rahul Gandhi has entered a private flight along with his attendants to reach Hubli. But it has not proved to be an ordinary journey. “At around 10:45 am, the aircraft suddenly tilted heavily on the left side and the altitude dipped steeply, combined with violent shuddering of the aircraft body… The weather outside was sunny, normal and not windy… A clanking noise was clearly audible from one side of the plane throughout the shuddering of the aircraft body. It was also learnt that the autopilot of the aircraft was not functioning,” said a complaint registered by congress party after the incident. The complaint sought the police to probe into “unexplained technical failures”.

    Aadhar card

90 lakh Aadhar details leaked in AP

Here is another nightmare situation for the Aadhar card holders. Though the government is relentlessly reiterating that the Aadhar data is highly secured... several breaches are coming right from the websites of the government. First it was the State Housing Corporation of AP that made the data of 1.3 lakh Aadhar card holders open for public. And that was just a sample! Yesterday a government portal dealing with MGNREGA scheme has made open the details of 89 lakh citizens. The details included bank account numbers, ration card numbers, caste and other crucial information of the card holders. Now it would be interesting to hear the assurance of government over the security of Aadhar card data.

    Asaram Bapu

    Another Rape case on Asaram

As the self styled godman Asaram Bapu has been convicted in the case of raping a minor girl... here is yet another blow for his followers. One more rape case is being tried by a court in Gandhinagar against Asaram. Two sisters living in Surat has accused Asaram and his son for repeatedly assaulting them for five years between 2001 and 2006. The Supreme Court has ordered the local police to speed up the case and submit the conclusions within five weeks. So, it’s going to be another HEARING for Asaram.

    Aadhar

Aadhar not mandatory for Mobile – Supreme

Have you ever received a message from your telecom service provider, threatening to dissolve your connection if you haven’t linked it with Aadhar! Did the message mention that it was the `Supreme Court’ which has mandated the linkage? Well if that is the case- we have been fooled by those companies. Yesterday, the Supreme Court has vehemently denied to have served such an order. It has merely said that `Aadhar Card’ can be treated as one of documents that can be used for the identity of the subscriber. It has reiterated that the government should not force the citizens to link their Aadhar card with mobiles and bank accounts until the judgement gets delivered on the issue.

    Gambhir

Gambhir to leave IPL captaincy and salary

Gautam Gambhir has delivered a shocker to his fans. He has decided to step down from the captaincy of the franchise. He also denied taking his 2.8 crore salary citing his poor performance. It could probably be the first time in the history of IPL that a player has denied to take his salary. Delhi Daredevils has lost five matches out of six and stood on the last step of the table. Gambhir himself is not in a great form with only 85 runs from all the matches. Delhi Daredevils couldn’t even chase a decent target of 143 made by Punjab XI. Now that Gambhir has owned the responsibility for the poor run, Mumbai batsman Shreyas Iyer will take over the captaincy for the remaining eight matches.

     US Indians lose jobs

60000 Indians to lose jobs in US

This is yet another bad news for the NRI’s. We are all aware of the NRI wives of US supporting their families by undertaking small jobs. But most of them might be losing their jobs soon. The US `Citizenship and Immigration Services’ has drafted a policy to terminate work permits granted to H-4 visa holders. The H-4 visa is granted to the spouses of professionals working in the US on H-1B visa. This would roughly affect 1,00,000 people and 60 percent are estimated to be Indians. The decision was taken as the part of Trump’s America First policy which intends to give first priority to the Americans.

    Salman Khurshid

Congress has blood of Muslims on hand

Senior Congress party leader Salman Khurshid has irked his own cadre by saying that his party’s hands are stained “with the blood of Muslims”. He has been interacting with the students of Aligarh Muslim University. Replying to the question regarding the communal riots during the congress rule- Salman Khurshid has admitted “Let me accept that we have the blood of Muslims on our hands.” Though Khurshid has been trying to be too humble to accept the facts, his statement would certainly favour the ruling BJP in the coming elections.

Asaram Bapu guilty of raping minor girl

The self-styled godman Asaram Bapu was found guilty of raping a minor girl. The Jodhpur court has convicted him of molesting a minor girl in the year 2013. The court is yet to declare the punishment which could last for several years of imprisonment. This 77 year old sadhu has been in jail at Jodhpur since 2013, when he was arrested on the case. The home ministry fears that his conviction might result in law and order situation as the devotees of Asaram are getting furious over the outcome. Additional forces were deployed in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Haryana where Asaram has huge following.

Raghuram Rajan as Bank of England governor

Raghuram Rajan as Bank of England governor

Who can forget the charming Raghuram Rajan who has been the RBI governor? Rajan, who is now working as Professor of Finance with the University of Chicago, has been the RBI Governor between September 2013 and September 2016. Critics often point out that the present sorrow state of Indian banks could have been prevented if he was still our RBI governor. The people of England too seem to have the same opinion. This is the reason why he is expected to be the governor of Bank of England (BoE). According to a report from the Financial Times, Raghuram is being seriously considered by the UK government to take over the top position of the bank.

    Girl

There were several incidents where Army was allegedly involved in cases such as rape and murder under the pretext of AFSPA. Now that the centre is satisfied that the insurgency problems were drastically reduced in the state, it has decided to cancel the act.

Producer donates 20 lakhs for Amaravathi

Responding to the call of Andhra Pradesh CM to donate for the construction of Capital city... noted producer Atluri Narayana Rao has donated 20 lakhs for the cause. And that’s not the end of the news. Narayana Rao has promised to donate 10 lakhs every year till the construction gets completed. Narayana Rao has met the CM on Monday and delivered the checque for the said amount. The gesture of Narayana Rao might evoke similar responses from the fraternity of the film industry.

    Rajnikanth to join BJP

It’s too early to deduce, but the Superstar turned politician Rajnikanth seems to be leaning towards the BJP. Rajnikanth has been known for his immense belief in spiritual experiences. He often leaves to gather some peace at Himalayas. Such an attitude has left people speculating that he would be joining BJP which is pro hindutva. And here is another hint for such a speculation. Yesterday Rajnikanth has met an RSS ideologue S. Gurumurthy. Gurumurthy is known for his ardent support towards the hindutva groups. Though Rajnikanth mentioned his get-together with Gurumurthy as purely informal.... we can guess some formal reasons behind it.

The fire was brought under the control and no casualties were reported. However, the mishap has created huge traffic jam in the area.

Cancelled OLA cab as the driver is a Muslim

Ironically Mishra is being followed by ministers like Nirmala Sitharaman, Rajyavardhan Rathore and Piyush Goyal. However OLA has maintained dignity in responding to the tweet- "Ola, like our country, is a secular platform, and we don't discriminate our driver partners or customers basis their caste, religion, gender or creed. We urge all our customers and driver partners to treat each other with respect at all times," was the reply of the company.
