Trade war between India and US

Trade war between India and US

Everyone in this world is aware of Trump’s numbness towards Indian diaspora. After making it almost impossible to let Indians gain Visa and Green card, he seem to have concentrated on the imports from our nation. Last march, Trump has signed an order imposing 25% tax on steel and 10% tax on aluminum imports from India. US government has denied repeated request from the Indian officials to re consider the decision. Now that there is no hope left regarding the reduction of tariff, Indian government has decided to hit back. It has removed concessions on items such as chickpeas, lentils, almonds and apples. This might result in a duty increase of more than 200 million dollars.

If you are clinged to social media, you could find out a latest clip of Rahul Gandhi doing circles. Rahul in that video clearly says that `there is no fool like me in the country’. These could be the words that could sooth the hearts of BJP fans. But a quick probe would reveal that these words are taken out of context. Pension Scheme

Pension to people jailed during Emergency

The atrocities committed by the government during the 1975 emergency might surprise the present generation. Forcible family planning operations, media censorship, legal abductions are just a few to name them. People who raised the voice for the cause of democracy were jailed without much hesitation. The Maharashtra government has announced a special 10,000/- pension for those who went to jail during Emergency. A Sri Lankan court has yesterday jailed a Buddhist monk named Galagodaatte Gnanasara to six months in jail. He was brought to justice for threatening an activist named Sandya Eknaligoda, two years back. However, the past of Galagodaatte Gnanasara does provide with any good leads. He was often alleged for initiating hate crimes against Muslims. However he used to get away with them as Buddhism is the official religion in Sri Lanka. Galagodaatte Gnanasara even leads an extremist organisation called Bodu Bala Sena (Buddhist Power Force). Well! Extremist doesn’t have any religion! Does it!

    Albert Einstein Shocking Racism

Indians are inferior beings – Einstein

Though he always given lectures opposing racisim, he might have his own views that pamper such thoughts. Proof! The diaries of Einstein were being studied for the purpose of publication. Some of the entries in these dairies are baffling. Sample this- (Indians) are biologically inferior... The climate prevents them from thinking backward or forward by more than a quarter of an hour. It’s not Indians that Einstein has insulting views about. Some entries regarding the Chinese and Japanese also contained highly racist undertones. Now! will the world reconsider him as a great man.

    Tamil Nadu  Latest News

Will the TamilNadu government fall out

The Madras high court is going to deliver a key judgement today regarding the disqualification of 18 MLA’s. These MLA’s belong to the rebel faction T.Dhinakaran of AIADMK. The speaker has earlier disqualified these 18 members as they were against the party. However these 18 MLA’s has knocked the door of highcourt saying that they have not acted against the party. The high court has reserved the judgement for today. If the court rules out the disqualification and accepts the MLA’s action to be legitimate... it would be a fatal blow to the present government. The present government would fall into minority and DMK would have the opportunity to form a government.

New trick to misuse your ATM cards

You might have heard of ATM card cloning. Well this is how it works. The culprits would attach a bug to the genuine ATM machines which would record all the data of all ATM cards entered into he machine. A small camera would also be fixed to find out the PIN number entered by you. That’s it! We have provided them with enough data to create a similar ATM card and misuse it. But here is a problem. You might get alerted at the initial withdrawal and get your card blocked. So, the scamsters has sought a new way to grab huge amounts in a few moments. Have you heard about SRIJAN scam

Well we can understand that there are too many scams for us to remember, but here is yet another scam that has to be noted down. There used to be an NGO in Bihar named Srijan Mahila Vikas Sahyog Samiti. The NGO used to impart vocational training to women. Sound good! But here is the loophole- the samithi was able to acquire crores of government funds in the pretext of welfare funding. Almost 880 crores of rupees of money is estimated to be involved in the scam. As the bank officials too were involved in the scam, it’s not surprising that the scam was overlooked for almost a decade (2004-2013). Now the CBI is slowly registering the cases against the culprits. Yesterday it has registered four more cases against the office bearers of Srijan Mahila Vikas Sahyog Samiti, officials of the Bank of Baroda and Indian Bank and others for alleged misuse of government funds.
