Modi inducted into Parliamentary board

 

BJP has inducted Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi into 12 member party parliamentary board, thus clearing way to party prime ministerial candidature. He was also inducted as member of the central election committee, which handles allocating party tickets in the 2014 elections. This was announced by the party president Rajnath Singh at New Delhi on Sunday evening.

 

Modi’s close aide and former Gujarat Home Minister Amit Shah, who are facing murder charges in two fake encounters, Varun Gandhi, MP from Pilibhit, who is famous for his hate speeches, Murlidhar Rao and Rajiv Pratap Rudy were also inducted into the board as General Secretaries.

 

Modi’s close associate and Rajya Sabha member Smriti Irani, fire brand leader of the party Uma Bharati, former Karnataka Chief Minister Sadanand Gowda and former deputy leader of BJP in Rajya Sabha SS Ahluwalia were made vice presidents of the party.

 

Former Bihar BJP chief CP Thakur, Balbir Punj, Jual Oraon, Satpal Malik, former Madhya Pradesh head Prabhat Jha and Laxmikant Chawla were also appointed as vice presidents besides the existing Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Bijoya Chakravarty.
