YSR Congress party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy's Tirumala darshan without signing the formal declaration about his faith in god has drawn a controversy.

According to the rules of TTD, the people who belong to other religions should have to sign the formal declaration for the darshan of Lord Balaji. Although it's impossible to identify all the other religion people who visit Tirumala dailt, the TTD officials has made it mandatory for the VIPs to sign it. Even Country's top leaders like Sonia Gandhi had signed the declaration form in the past. But Jagan, who is a christian, was allowed without completing the formalities.

On Wednesday morning, Jagan visited Tirumala along with his party's Tirupati candidate Bhumana Karunakara Reddy and 60 others. A VIP darshan slot was allotted to the Kadapa MP and they permitted Jagan to have the darshan without signing the declaration, violating the Temple rules.

However, the TTD Officials said that it's completely Jagan's fault. When Jagan was about to enter the Temple, a TTD superintendent came near to him and asked him to sign the declaration form. But, the Yuva Neta refused to do so and went ahead with the darshan. Even TTD former chairman Bhumana Karunakara Reddy who accompanied Jagan didn't insist him to sign the form.

Apart from declaration form issue, allowing 60 people along with Jagan during the VIP darshan has stirred another controversy. As the matter has reached the media, the TTD authorities have immediately ordered for an enquiry and the Board EO has assured that action will be taken against the guilty.
