With expectations of mid-term poll fading out and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy facing CBI charges of amassing illegal wealth, one by one Jagan camp MLAs are coming back to Congress. The rebel Congress MLAs have realised that there are no chances of midterm elections in the near future as they had expected before tendering resignations. They have also realised that their chances of winning elections in future will become tough since no public work could be done due to noncooperation from the Kiran government.
Bhadrachalam MLA Kunja Satyavathi met deputy speaker M Bhatti Vikramarka at Madhira in Khammam district for half an hour on Sunday evening and explained the reasons for her decision to resign and expressed her willingness to work for the ruling party. Speaking to mediapersons later, Satyavathi, however, denied that she was moving away from Jagan's camp. She made it clear that her meeting with the deputy speaker was meant to invite him to her daughter's marriage. She further said that she would attend a meeting of pro-Jagan MLAs in Hyderabad on November 24. "I will abide by whatever decision Jagan Mohan Reddy will take,'' she declared.
Another Jagan loyalist, Anaparthi MLA N Sesha Reddy, said in Rajahmundry that he would take a decision on withdrawing his resignation only after holding discussions with his followers. "I will take a decision in another two days. I will act as per my followers' wish", he said in a clear indication of his change of heart. Recently, Jagan's staunch loyalist and MLA C Adinarayana Reddy (Jammalamadugu) asserted that he would not support the no-trust motion against the government. Other Jagan-supporting MLAs G Babu Rao, Jayasudha, T Balraju, K Ravi, K Srinivasulu and D Krishna Das also expressed similar feelings.
