Govt. wakes-up after Sarabjit’s death

All most all the top leaders of UPA government ranging from Prime Minister Dr.Manomohan Singh to home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde to minister Manish Tiwari, who wakes-up to Sarabjit Singh’s tragic death in Pakistan and making hue and cry now before the media. They sharply criticize Pakistan for being inhuman and violating the Geneva agreement in handling the foreign prisoners. All of they assures Sarbjit’s family members that efforts were on to bring back his body for performing his last riots. Even Rahul Gandhi, who normally absconds from this kind of incidents has visited Sarabjit’s family to express his grief and condolence.

However, Sarbjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur has blames the government for failing to bring him back alive despite reminding them, ever since he was arrested two decades ago. She said Pakistan has never let its convicted prisoners go alive out of the country, instead it encourages the jail inmates to brutally murder them. She has given examples of several such incidents of the past and blamed Indian government for being inactive and inhuman towards her brother’s release. She expressed anguish on the government for its inability to bring her brother alive but now firmly assuring to bring his body. Is it a failure of our external ministry?
