Sarbjit Singh died

Indian national Sarbjit Singh, who was in deep coma stage since last one week and was declared as ‘Brain Dead’ by the doctors was died on Wednesday midnight in Jinnah Hospital in Pakistan. He was assaulted by inmates in the jail and had brain injury. Recently, his family members were allowed to visit him but couldn’t get access into ICCU to see him closely. Doctors told them that he was brain dead and asked their permission to remove his ventilator support. But, his family members have returned home without giving their consent as they want to shift him to India for better treatment. Probably, Pak government might have given permission to doctors to remove his external supports so as to relieve him from suffering further.
