The Cabinet Committee has competed its meeting and has decided for the President Rule in Andhra Pradesh .Ministers P Chidambaram and Manish Tiwari are going to give a formal announcement shortly. The Congress have failed to choose an interim leader to head the Government till the elections are called for with no worthy person to head the state and the very evident lack of unity among the AP Congress leaders which is a major cause of embarrassment for them.
After a similar situation in 1973 this is the second time in 41 years that this the Presidents’ Rule imposed on the State. A very crucial decision which will have major effects on the future elections and if the Assembly elections are called for earlier Congress has to act fast and start liaisons with the TRS and MIM parties. This is going to be a trying time for the Congress party to pull up its image in the two states and if the Assembly elections are called for earlier they better pull their boots fast.
