With the resignation of Chief Minister C Kiran Kumar Reddy , there is havoc in the formation of a new government. Along with Kiran, even the party members are protesting against the bifurcation of AP. It is heard from sources that the high command of the ruling party are planning to postpone the formation of a new government even though there is a majority. Assembly polls in the state is likely to take place along with the Lok Sabha Polls.
In the meanwhile, President's rule is likely to be introduced in the state. It seems like the Union Cabinet will take a decision on this today since Governor ESL Narasimhan has recommended for the central rule. On the other hand, a lot of Congress MLAs and ministers are resigning in a row as a sign of dissatisfaction on the bifurcation of the state. We need to wait for a final decision from the ruling party to understand what is the fate of governance in the state.
