TRS move to distract Babu Padayatra!

  TDP is completely cornered with TRS and YSR Congress parties over no trust motion. It has no perfect answer to their questions for not supporting the no-trust move to be forwarded by TRS. Hence, TDP is desperately looking for a way out from the situation. TDP senior leaders, who are troubling to defend themselves from the rival attacks, have been firing their guns aimlessly.   TDP senior leader Revanth Reddy has said TDP will support the no-trust motion only when TRS and YSR Congress leaders swear on their respective leaders statues, stating that they will never join hands with Congress party in future. Nevertheless, it turns a big jok in the political circles. Now it is Payyavula Keshav’s turn to cut another joke to defend from the rival attacks. He said TRS has intentionally planned this no-trust move idea to distract the people, who were completely absorbed into Chandrababu Naidu’s padayatra.   If, Payyavula would have said these words while Chandrababu is doing padayatra in Telangana region, one could justify his statement. But, when he is doing padayatra far away from Telangana region and that is no way connected to no-confidence motion, his statement wonders how is he linking the padayatra with no-trust move. Instead of making such silly statements, would he gave a fitting reply or exact reason for not supporting the no-trust motion, it could be justified in the political circles. But, this kind of response from a matured politician like Payyavula cuts down his status in political circles

చిరకాల ప్రత్యర్థిపై భారత్ గెలుపు

మలేషియా లో జరుగుతున్న అజ్లాన్ షా మెన్స్ హాకీ టోర్నమెంట్ లో భారత్ తన చిరకాల ప్రత్యతి పాకిస్తాన్ పై 3-1 గోల్స్ తేడాతో గెలుపొందింది. రెండు పరాజయాలను ఎదుర్కొన్న భారతజట్టు ఈ విజయంతో టోర్నీలో కొనసాగే అవకాశాలను నిలుపుకుంది. అత్యంత కీలకమైన ఈ మ్యాచ్ లో భారతజట్టు ఆటగాళ్ళు చక్కటి సంయమనంతో ఆడింది. మ్యాచ్ ఆరంభమైన నాలుగో నిముషంలో పాకిస్తాన్ ఆటగాడు మహమ్మద్ వకాస్ గోల్ చేయడంతో ఖంగుతిన్న భారతజట్టు ఎదురుదాడికి దిగింది. ఈ క్రమంలో మరు నిముషంలోనే భారత ఆటగాడు రూపీందర్ సింగ్ గోల్ చేయడంతో స్కోరు సమానమయింది. భారత్ తొమ్మిదో నిముషంలో ఆకాశ్ దీప్ రెండో గోల్.  56వ నిముషంలో మన్దీప్ సింగ్ మూడో గోల్ చేశారు. పాకిస్తాన్ ఆటగాళ్ళు ఎంత ప్రయత్నించినా భారత గోల్ కీపర్ శ్రీజేష్ అడ్డుకోవడంతో గోల్ సాధించడంలో విఫలమయ్యారు.

The Italian troubles

  India has been always found struck with Italian deals come it may be Bofors scandal or Augusta Helicopter’s scandal or the current Italian Navy Marine’s case.   The two Italian Navy marines-Massimiliano and Salvatore, who were found guilty for killing the two Indian fisher man in the Indian territorial waters off the Kerala coast in the last year, were allowed to return home for voting in the elections after they gave an undertaking to the apex court on February 22nd of assuring to attend the court proceedings. Earlier, they were allowed to go home to attend the Christmas celebrations and returned to India as promised to the court. But, this time the Italian External Ministry has refused to send them back to India.   This lead to uproar in the Parliament by opposition which demands the government to ensure the two marines return to India for facing the trail. Indian Ministry of External Affairs has summoned the Italian ambassador to India Daniele Mancini and conveyed its objections over Italian government’s decision and asked him to pressurize his government to honor the orders of Supreme Court. However, the Italian government, which thinks otherwise, has decided to let the case handle by international arbitrator rather than Supreme Court of India.   The Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh answering to a question raised by the opposition parties in the parliament has said the Italian government's decision was unacceptable and it will not be taken lightly. But, keeping in view our past experiences, it is to be understood that this case also will be shelved during the course of time like several other cases.

TDP not to support no-confidence motion

  TDP has decided not to support the no-confidence motion to be brought by TRS against Kiran Kumar Reddy government. Chandrababu, who had a video conference meeting with his party seniors from west Godavari district yesterday, has declared that his party will not support the move made by TRS as he believes that the time is not ripe for such decisions.   Chandrababu believes that any such idea will provide ample scope to YSR Congress party for indulging in horse trading of its MLAs, instead of bringing down the ruling Congress government. Hence, TDP has decided not to succumb to TRS pressures in this regard. Chandrababu said that his party will serve the no-confidence notice to government, only when it feels necessary. Since he couldn’t attend the state Assembly sessions that commence from Wednesday, he instructed his party leaders to keep reporting about the house proceedings so as he can guide them to take appropriate decision.   TRS and YSR Congress party flays Chandrababu for maintaining double standards in handling the Congress party.

Is Sharmila assured of Jagan’s bail?

  YSR Congress party leader Sharmila has again assured the people that soon her brother Jagan Mohan Reddy will come out of the jail. She told this during her padayatra at Solasa village in Guntur district yesterday. She assured the villagers that her brother will come out soon and bring back those golden days of her father late YSR. She might have made this statement because Jagan Mohan Reddy’s lawyers have assured so.   They seem to be banking on the Supreme Court’s last instruction given to CBI, in which it asks to complete the investigation at the earliest or it has to consider Jagan’s bail application. Perhaps, they are assuming that CBI fails to meet the deadline set by Supreme Court and hence the court is going to grant bail to their client definitely in the next month. Hence, they might be assuring YSR family members and the same assurance has been passed to people by Sharmila during her padayatra.

Why the T-Cong. MPs visit New Delhi often?

  T-Congress MPs have again visited New Delhi yesterday and met Union Ministers Vayalar Ravi and Ghulamnabi Azad. This time they have other than Telangana issue to highlight in their visit. They have narrated their miserable condition in the Telangana region and requested them to speed up the Telangana process.   Then, they even set a deadline of one month time for the party high command to make an announcement on Telangana issue. K.Jana Reddy, who also accompanied them, has told the Union Ministers that he is ready to quit his post if the party fails to make an announcement within one month.   Later, all of they have complained against CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana. They said both of they are keeping them away from the party and government affairs and not even bothers to inform them about the ongoing activities. They complained that the duo are showing discrimination against all the Telangana leaders and not even giving their due respect. As usually, Vayalar Ravi assured them that he will take the matter to Madam Sonia Gandhi’s notice.   But, while knowing that the party high command rely upon the CM and PCC President in handling the state affairs, then how can they expect it hear their complaint and take action against the duo? When few days ago the same Minister Vayalar Ravi has stated ‘Declaring Telangana is not as easy as making a Dosa,’ then what is the use of meeting him again with same demand?   Even when, Home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has made it clear that Telangana issue can’t be solved in near future then what is the use of meeting and appealing them with same demands? Perhaps, the intention behind their visit is to highlight their efforts and interest in Telangana issue their present visit is to highlight their interest and efforts on Telangana to the people of their region and not that they have come there expecting their high command hear what they are demanding. The wide media coverage of their visit to New Delhi helps them in underlining their efforts, which they exactly expect for.

Revanth demands TRS and YSRCP to pledge against Cong.

  As the TRS and YSR Congress parties have declared their readiness to topple Kiran Kumar Reddy government, all eyes now turn toward TDP, which is hesitating to support no-trust motion to be served by TRS. Responding to the intensified attacks by the duo, TDP senior leader Revanth Reddy has come up with a silly argument to defend his party.   He challenged TRS president K.Chandrashekar rao whether he can take pledge on Prof.Jayashankar and Telangana Talli statues agreeing not to join hands with Congress party in the future? He also asks YSRCP leaders Vijayamma, Sharmila and Jagan the same question taking pledge on late YSR’s ‘Samadhi’ at Idupulapaya. If, they can make promises TDP is ready to support no confidence motion.   The standards of our so called genius politicians’ statements, demands, assurances, live debates in news channels and their speeches have fallen to such a level that even common people hates to listen to them. Yet, they continue their practice as if they were unaware of the people’s response.

Ram Singh died due to hanging, says autopsy report

      Doctors at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) have completed the autopsy of Delhi gang rape accused Ram Singh who was found dead in his cell in Tihar Jail yesterday. Sources say the initial findings of the post-mortem suggest suicide. Police had found Ram Singh hanging in his cell in Jail No 3 Monday morning, and say that he killed himself.   Ram Singh's parents and the Metropolitan Magistrate investigating the case were present throughout the two-hour procedure conducted by a team of three doctors, which included the head of the forensic department. An official copy of the autopsy report will be handed over to the magistrate. Meanwhile, Tihar Jail authorities have sent a report detailing the security arrangements that were in place for Ram Singh to the fast-track court that is trying the gang-rape case. The report will be examined by the court later today.

Earthquake Shakes Wide Area of S. California

    An earthquake rolled through a wide swath of Southern California late Monday morning but there were no immediate reports of damage.   The 9:55 a.m. quake had an estimated magnitude of 4.7, said Nick Scheckel, seismic analyst at the California Institute of Technology's seismological laboratory. He said a number of aftershocks were occurring.   The epicenter was about a dozen miles from the desert town of Anza, about 100 miles southeast of Los Angeles. The temblor was felt sharply in the local area and caused a swaying or rolling motion in Los Angeles and San Diego. Near the epicenter, Palms Springs police Sgt. Harvey Reed said his department received no reports of damage or injuries. There were no other immediate reports of damage in the region. Susie Bride, a cashier at Cahuilla Mountain Market and Cafe in Anza, said the quake seemed to last awhile but didn't do any damage to the business. "It kind of shook and then I thought, 'God, is that an earthquake?' It kind of shook and then it rolled a little bit and then it shook again," she said.

I won’t feel sorry for Ram Singh’s suicide!

  Senior BJP leader M Venakayya Naidu has told the media that he is not feeling sorry for Ram Singh, the prime accused of Delhi gang rape case for committing suicide inside Tihar jail on yesterday as he deserve that  punishment. He said the incident highlights the negligent attitude of jail officials. However, he said investigation to be conducted on how an under trail can commit suicide with so much security posted around.

Is Jayasudha looking towards TDP?

  Congress MLA from Secunderabad constituency Jayasudha has submitted her resignation to CM Kiran Kumar Reddy three days ago in protest against considering candidature of former Mayor of the city Karitik Reddy’s husband for MLC post. However, the name was not appeared in the list as predicted by her. CM also ignores her resignation letter as he could understand her position. She said that she will continue in Congress until she completes her term and plans to quit the party even politics as she understood that she is not fit for politics.   However, her earlier efforts to join YSR Congress party reveals that she still has some political interests, but couldn’t find a right platform to continue. Hence, the only alternative left for her is TDP, where there are several film personalities to make her feel at home. Hence, she is expected to approach TDP before taking a decision of leaving the politics. Since, she is an honest woman she may stick to Congress party till elections are declared and then may either join TDP or depart from politics forever.

What stops TDP and YSRCP go against Congress?

TRS president KCR’s sudden announcement of serving no-trust motion against ruling Congress government puts both TDP and YSR Congress parties in an embarrassing situation.Neither they can join hands with TRS nor they can stay away from it. Both of they have their own reasons to sit quite in this situation.   Congress ultimatum to Jagan loyalists inside the party hints that it won’t hesitate to disqualify them if they revolt against the party during no-trust motion. If, YSRCP tries to join hands with TRS, then its 9 MLAs inside the Congress will be at stake. If, they prefer to stay with Congress only, then it will lose them merely for nothing.   Hence, it can’t afford to join hands with TRS at this moment. More over, if it joins hands with TRS and topples Congress government, it has to face elections without its President leading it. At the same time, it even can’t stay away from its proposal, because it may strengthen the allegations made against it by TRS and TDP of having secret pact with Congress party. So, YSR Congress party is in a big dilemma in this issue.   TDP fears that in case if it joins hands with TRS and try to topple Kiran Kumar Reddy government, ultimately it will lead to an unholy alignment between Congress and YSRCP, which it never wants to happen. With YS Vijayamma’s latest statement of ready to join hands with Congress lead UPA alliance, TDP is scared to see any positive development in that direction. Hence, if TDP joins hands with TRS and topple Kiran government, TDP believes that it will provide a great opportunity for YSRCP to bargain and make a permanent pact with ruling Congress party, which may ultimately, brings out Jagan Mohan Reddy out of jail and make its job further tough.   So, it is also scared to join no trust motion with TRS. But, at the same time it can’t stay away from the no-trust motion, as it provides TRS a new weapon to attack TDP in the Telangana region. Hence, TDP is also feels cornered with TRS move. So, it is high time for the four major political parties to play their cards and win this political game.

TRS to serve no-trust motion

  While, the two main opposition parties TDP and YSR Congress indulged in a ugly battle over serving no-trust motion against Kiran Kumar Reddy government, TRS president surprised them all by announcing that his party will take up that task. He not only made a formal announcement but also consulted BJP, MIM, Lok Satta etc parties seeking support to its move.   Although he clears the air with his announcement, it ultimately corners both TDP and YSRCP and forces them to come out of their shells. Then both these parties will be left with no other option but spell their stand. They have to reveal whether they want to save the ruling Congress government, as against their allegations made against Congress government all these days in their padayatras or join hands with TRS to topple the government and face political crisis.   Since, it makes no difference for TRS whether the government run or fall, it can spearhead with its move, while pushing its rivals into corner. More over, it’s decision will definitely makes the Congress high command open its mouth on Telangana issue, which is calmly hatching it since last two months.

Vijayamma's untimely announcement of alliance

  The untimely statement made by YSR Congress party honorary president YS Vijayamma, while leaving her party in embarrassment, it also offered an un expected weapon to her rivals TDP and TRS parties. In her recent interview given to a leading English News daily, she said her party rather prefers to support Congress lead UPA alliance or some other Front if emerged, than supporting BJP lead NDA alliance after the next general elections.   In the prevailing situation, when her party is fiercely engaged in bitter fight over serving no-confidence-move against Congress party in the state, her statement considered to be politically suicidal for her party. It indicates either she lacks sufficient political knowledge or she might have tried to sent feelers to Congress high command about her party intentions, so as it could lead to release of her son Jagan Mohan Reddy’s from the jail.   However,  if her party is keen to join hands or merge with ‘mother Congress’ as often described by Chandrababu Naidu, she would have done it without leaving a hint to third person so as her party can sail smoothly in the storming politics of the state. Although, the Congress high command can’t be expected to immediately respond to her proposal, it may start clearing hurdles for her son’s release. But, at the same time her statement turns embarrassing to both Congress and YSR Congress parties in the prevailing political situation, as they were blamed of having secret pact between them.   Her rival Chandrababu, who never leave a chance like this, eagerly grabs to spread her word into public during his padayatra. On the other end, BJP which is already draws swords against her son-in-law Brother anil Kumar making several allegations against him, may now intensify its attacks on YSR Congress party further. Hence, Vijayamma’s statement is not only a untimely statement but also a political mistake, that welcomes unwanted troubles to her party in the state.

Ram Singh’s lawer says his client was mentally healthy

  Ram Singh’s suicide in Tihar Jail on early hours of Monday reveals how the jail officials have been handling the under trails. His lawyer Anand argues that his client was physically and mentally in good health condition. He asserted that during his interaction with Ram Singh during the last 4 weeks, he has not observed anything odd in his behavior.   He said “Ram Singh, (33) who used to work as a bus driver in New Delhi is supposed to be physically and mentally fit for doing his complicated job and he has proved that he is fit in all aspects during the last 4 weeks of trial. Then, how come the jail officials claim that he is mentally distrubed and showing suicidal tendency since last few days? When they claim so, then why didn’t they took him to a Psychiatrist and gave him necessary treatemnt?" asked his laywer.   Ram Singh is expected to attend the court case on Monday morning, he was found dead and has been hurriedly shifted to jail hospital where he was declared brought dead.   Former Tihar Jail Superindent Kiran Bedi also questions how the jail authorities can be so negligent towards an A-1 graded prime accused in a sensational case and how is it possible to give them a slip whom they are terming mentally disturbed.   All these questions lead further questions and suspicisons over his suden death and points out at the Jail officials, who have no explanation to offer. Many suspect whether Ram Singh has really committed suicide or has some other reasons behind his death. His lawyer Anand demands for an explantion from the concerned jail officials for the death of his client.

Delhi gang rape accused commits suicide

  The prime accused in Delhi gang rape case Ram Singh, (the bus driver) was found dead in his special cell in Tihar Jail around 5am on Monday morning. He hanged himself to iron grills of his cell using his clothes. Jail officials said that he has committed suicide. They said he was kept under close observation for he shown suicidal tendency during the last few weeks. However, the jail officials have no explanation to offer on how he could commit suicide when he was kept under close watch. Tihar jail officials are conducting a investigation the incident. R P N Singh, Minister of State for Home Affairs has said that whoever responsible for this negligence will not be spared.

Dadi describes himself as a poor man!

  TDP Polit bureau member and sitting MLC Dadi Veerabadra rao describes himself as a poor man in the party. He asked the party president Chandrababu Naidu, whether there is no place or honor for the poor in the party. He complains party humiliated his self respect by not offering 2nd term for him as MLC.   However, Dadi Veerabadra rao is known as a big business man and owner of several colleges including one engineering college located in and around his Anakapalli constituency. Even then, describing himself as a poor man in the party makes the people laugh at him and also makes them curious to know what would be the yardstick to define one as poor or rich.   Perhaps, when compared with some of the big leaders like Nama Nageswara rao in his party, who were said to be crossed Rs.1000 crore mark in terms of their assets and businesses, Dadi Veerabadra rao might be feeling himself as just an upper middle class section in the party and that’s why he might be feeling inferior to the rich members of his party. His statement also indicates that TDP prefers to have rich men only as its members. If, a crorepathi like him believes that he is poor then, what about the real poor in the country?
