Rahul and Modi speaks differently on PM post
Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi, who are said to be in PM’s race, coincidentally have expressed quite opposite views on their PM candidature. Rahul in his address to delegates at CII held at New Delhi has said that he is frustrated to see the ongoing debate about his prime ministerial candidature. He said its irrelevant and just smoke. He also said that people should not expect miracles from one man, as it is highly impossible to resolve all the problems of billions of people of the country. He said his arrival into politics is just fate, accidental and because of his DNA linkage to a particular family. Hence, he insists the people and media to put an end to the ongoing debate about his PM candidature.
Yesterday, Gujarat CM Narendra Modi speaking at a meeting held at Gandhi Nagar has said it his duty to serve the country if given a chance to rule the country as its PM. He said “there may be some people opposing me but I believe it is due to the healthy competition generated between the states based on the development activities of our state, which should be welcomed by all. The world has precisely assessed our development activities and start recognizing us.”
While, Narendra Modi is spearheading towards his target with self confidence, Rahul Gandhi prefers to stay way from the race. While, Modi is racing for PM post despite facing stiff resistance from within the party and outside, Rahul Gandhi despite having full and unconditional support of his party is seen distancing from the same. While, Modi assures that the problems of the country can be resolved with (his) able administration, Rahul states that he alone can’t resolve all the problems of billions of people of the country and hence power to be decentralized.
While, Modi expresses full confidence in himself, his abilities and about our democratic system, Rahul expresses quite negatively about the same. Rahul’s speech ahead of Karnataka Assembly elections may oblige the Congress party to think for alternative to lead the party in the elections. If, he prefers to continue with this attitude, it may be embarrassing to Congress leaders who are habituated to make Bhajans of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
