Mrunal Thakur has finally addressed the ongoing speculation about her possible inclusion in Allu Arjun and Atlee's Raaka, but the actress has neither confirmed nor denied the reports. When asked directly about her association with the highly anticipated sci-fi actioner, Mrunal responded with a witty remark, keeping the casting mystery alive.

“I like how you assume that I am doing Raaka,” she said with a laugh in an interview with HT City. She added that announcements about her upcoming films would be made through her social media accounts soon, putting an end to the speculation. “The announcement of upcoming films, I will make it on social networking sites soon, so that we put a full stop to all these rumours,” she stated.

Interestingly, the actress had also revealed in an earlier interview with Mid-Day that she had not signed a film in nearly nine months and was waiting for a meaningful role. Her comments have added another layer to the speculation surrounding Raaka, although there is no official confirmation of her involvement in the project.

Directed by Atlee, Raaka stars Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone and is scheduled for release in 2027. The ambitious sci-fi actioner has already generated considerable buzz, with its large-scale production and technical ambitions adding to the anticipation. With Mrunal choosing to leave the question unanswered, audiences will have to wait for an official announcement to know whether she is part of the film.
