Will consider if Modi invites me to join his cabinet: TRS MP Kavita

TRS MP Kavita has made an interesting statement during a visit to her Nizamabad constituency yesterday. Replying to a media question, she said “If Prime Minister Narendra Modi invites me to join his cabinet, we will definitely consider it. However, there are no such proposals right now.”

But, her statement is strengthening the arguments of the opposition parties. They argue that Telangana Chief Minister KCR has softens his voice on Narendra Modi and his government only to see his daughter becomes union minister. That’s why he is implementing the programs declared by the Modi government. No surprise, if TRS joins the NDA alliance group in future,” arguing the opposition parties in the state.

However, so far, no one from the state BJP has reacted to her statement. But, her statement is clearly hinting that TRS wants to join hands with the BJP. But, first it has to make it clear whether it is prepared to snap ties with the MIM, which the BJP considers as an enemy. However, it would be suicidal for TRS to snap ties with the MIM just ahead of GHMC elections. At the same time, it will not be allowed to sail in two boats at a time.

If, the BJP is going to welcome the TRS to join the NDA alliance, first it should think about the adverse effect on its relations with the TDP. Hence, the BJP may take some time to decide whether to admit TRS MP Kavita into the Modi cabinet or not keeping in view of all these complications.
