Nominated MLA must not vote says TDP

Telangana TDP leaders on Friday cleared that they would challenge in High Court against assembly secretary who is allegedly supporting ruling party violating constitutional rules.

Addressing a press conference, they demanded Election Commission to exclude nominated MLA from the voting list as nominated MLA merely supports ruling party. According to the Supreme Court directions, Chennamaneni Ramesh is ineligible to vote, against whom a case is pending challenging his Nationality.

TDP MLAs on Thursday raised all these issues before state election commission and asked election commission to direct returning officer regarding this issue. They also warned that they would approach court if SEC fails to take any action on the issues raised by them.
