Chandrababu Trying to Woo The Youth

In the ongoing Telugu Desam Party politburo meeting at NTR Bhavan yesterday, the TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu stressed on the need to strengthen the party's youth wing Telugu Yuvata. The politburo also decided to enroll the youth below 35 years of age in Telugu Yuvata, keeping in view the ensuing 2014 general elections.

The TDP politburo also demanded the Centre to immediately implement the M S Swaminathan recommendations to solve the problems of farmers in Andhra Pradesh. Talking to mediapersons after the party's politburo meeting, Mr Naidu said the party will launch an agitational programme and continue it until the Union Government adopts the Swaminathan Committee recommendations submitted to it long back. Mr Naidu said leaders of the party would meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to discuss the problems faced by farmers in the state.
